in the last few hours it's been announced that the 2020 world athletics indoor championships in nanjing, china have been postponed. they were due to be held in march, and are the latest sporting event to fall victim to the coronavirus. in a statement world athletic said the advice from their medical team was that "the spread of the coronavirus both within china and outside the country is still at a concerning level and no one should be going ahead with any major gathering that can be postponed". with details of other sports that have been affected, here's our reporter alex gulrajani. yes, the coronavirus is having an impact on the sporting schedule with a wide range of events and a number of sports moved, postpone, or cancelled completely in some cases. let's start with the latest event to go and it is the first test event of the beijing winter webex in 2022, the beijing winter webex in 2022, the men's alpine skiing world cup was scheduled for every 15th, about 1200 km north of wuhan, the
