experience. just was a great experience. just because i happen to see him, still an amateur, i'm not... sat down on the table, andl amateur, i'm not... sat down on the table, and i just amateur, i'm not... sat down on the table, and ijust sat down and... and they probably thought i was a fan with a picture. i was like i know who you are, bro boxer, i am an amateur, so if you need sparring, let me know and i can handle myself. then they contact me later on that day. —— a boxer. as much as i enjoy the big occasions, i always have a sense of awareness as | am the big occasions, i always have a sense of awareness as i am working out when i touch gloves, everything i'm doing with lights and cameras, through all of it i am aware of what is going on. will everyone watching you, they have a lot of opinion

especially on the internet. do you ever read any of that? initially when i was slightly younger. i used to read every comment but now not so much because a lot of people, i do not know if i should say this here but i will say it anyway. i have done social pretty much for my own personal ego i will use the word i have seen comments in certain situations from people and i have gone out of my way to meet said people, and see if what they said on social media and all that. and nine times out of ten, it is not the same. they are more approaching and should i say loving and real life. it is interesting to see the change from then till now. the fact that i am still on the build—up as opposed

to hitting the pinnacle, that is what is a blessing to me. i'm able to do stuff for my family and stuff like that i felt good about the progression i am making. i have been building towards it since i turned pro and got on the great britain team, i have been gearing myself up for these moments but i take it in my stride because it is not like this is the pinnacle. "world title. . . " this is the pinnacle. "world title..." not this is the pinnacle. "world title. not ready for all this is the pinnacle. "world title..." not ready for all that. it is just title..." not ready for all that. it isjust get it title..." not ready for all that. it is just get it done and there is another goal that i want to hit. lawrence okolie talking there. all this week, we've been profiling the contenders for the bbc‘s womens footballer of the year. voting is still open and today, it's all about vivianne miedema. she was arsenal's top scorer, as they won the womens super league last season. and broke goalscoring records for the netherlands, on their way to the world cup final last year. this is her story. iam nota i am not a big celebration person.
6:48 pm
ifi i am not a big celebration person. if i work at someone giving back if they are making ajoakim, i say it looks cool but if i did that i would probably end up with a broken back. i know what my qualities are and it is definitely not celebrating a goal. probably a couple to be honest. the game with arsenal at brighton, a special day because... coming from london and an amazing season going to the world cup and then playing a world cup final no one expected i think is something amazing you only expected once in your life. i can't go on the street any more without getting recognised. one of the steps we always wanted and women's football one up at winning the euro, it got that boom and right

now we play for 30,000 people all the time. it is growing as i work on how we do in holland, we are probably almost more popular than the men's team. girls are coming to oui’ the men's team. girls are coming to our games but little boys are coming as well instead of a van dyck teacher, they're wearing my t—shirt. my teacher, they're wearing my t—shirt. my biggest example... he was always the player and his style was the way i want to play so that help me. —— robin van persie. just a football family, my dad, granddad used to play, my brother is still playing professional. my mum was getting annoyed because when i was two or three i started kicking against everything in the house and she was just like get her a ball so she can play outside. always play football, never stopped. i actually do not enjoy being a striker that much. i used to play... i was having people
6:50 pm
making fun of me, because i assisted people more than spray myself. even now, i want to get the ball and be a creative player and i would not say... a real number nine if that makes sense. i am just not really a big heavy celebration person. sometimes for a game you make a deal with my brother or one of the team is that we are going to do this today. if i look at some of the girls at the national team making a assault or double—time, that looks cool but i would probably end up with a broken back i note my qualities are ended to stephanie would not celebrating a goal. —— definite we not celebrating a goal. vivianne miedema there — who alongside lucy bronze, sam kerr, julie ertz and megan rapinoe are in the running to win. and it's you who decides voting takes place on our website, and closes on march 2nd, so less than two weeks to go. italian side roma have started talks with other european football teams
