been laser focused on working with both industry and academia to actually make this happen. today underour actually make this happen. today under our emergency use authorisation ui'iuei’ oui' eitiei’gei'icy use authorisation approach, we put in review and authorised 63 tests. both diagnostic as well as the antibody test. we've had several point—of—care test and that's important because those can be done in an emergency important because those can be done in an eitiei’gei'icy i’ooiti important because those can be done in an emergency room and a doctor office and much more convenient for the patient. this week is president “ we the patient. this week is president —— we acknowledge a test where under certain circumstances with doctor supervision, a test can be mailed to a patient and a patient can perform self swab and mail it back for results. all under the guidance of a licence physician. we are working with more than 400 test developers who are pursuing authorisation for their diagnostics under our current policies. under our regulatory

211 are in the planning stages so we expect to see more. this includes —— work continues on vaccines and two firms have announced the fda has authorised their support. finally in i’espoi‘ise authorised their support. finally in response to the president's request, we response to the president's request, we stood up to —— we are leaving no stone unturned and working around—the—clock to develop these therapeutics for the american people. thank you very much. just about an hour ago a committee release findings that the fda doesn't have any review of the antibody tests that are on the market. there are no guidelines. no telling which ones should be out there and there's no way to test their accuracy. they are quite worried that these are jump test on the market because they weren't
10:50 pm
reviewed before they were approved. is that true? under our policy, what we is that true? under our policy, what we told manufacturers that in order to market the us, they have to validate their test. they have to tell us they validated their test and they have to let people know and users, labs etc that those tests we i’e users, labs etc that those tests were not authorised by fda. we authorise four. these tests that have come in without any information to us but have been self validated, asi to us but have been self validated, as i mentioned a couple days ago, we are working with the national cancer institute as well as cdc to perform oui' institute as well as cdc to perform our own institute as well as cdc to perform our own validation of the test that have been sent to us. we will provide as much information as we possibly can. there is transparency oi'i possibly can. there is transparency on the website about those tests and also the tests that we have authorised. thank you, mr president. from early in this effort, president
