in tulsa in oklahoma. now it's time for a look at the weather with tomasz schafernaker. well, the weather was a real mixed bag across the uk today. heavy rain for some of us, gusty winds, but some sunshine around too, and this mixture of weather was brought by low pressure, which is going to be here through tonight and also into tomorrow. and it's a very slow—moving low, meaning that the weather pattern is not going to change very quickly. in fact, we keep getting the heavy rain in the same places, so northern ireland, south—western scotland, the north—west of england into yorkshire too whereas, further south, always drier and clearer, and that's what we are going to have through tomorrow as well. now, eventually, some of that rain will clear away as this low starts to blow itself out, but there will still be plenty of showers around, perhaps thundery ones there across scotland and northern england. the better weather again in the south.

unit at the state run king edward memorial hospital in central mumbai. the sounds of battle between life and death. the city of mumbai has nearly 70,000 coronavirus cases, some are being treated here at the king edward memorial hospital. it is one of the city's largest state—run hospitals. we have been granted exclusive access to the intensive care unit. this woman shows us around. the doctor has worked here for ten years but the last three months have been the most difficult. we have to think and act on critical patients critically so you can imagine is a very big challenge, mentally, physically, it's very tiring and takes a big toll on the body.
