cloud lingering across south—east england and the channel islands, perhaps a bit of rain. temperatures evenin perhaps a bit of rain. temperatures even in the towns and cities getting down to around freezing. some spots in the countryside easily below freezing. so, some frost tomorrow morning. but high pressure is beginning to take charge of our weather. nosing its way in from the south—west which means a lot of dry but rather chilly weather over the next few days. still a band of cloud across the far south—east tomorrow. elsewhere, any fog patches should clear, to be followed by sunshine. but it is going to be quite chilly, temperatures in most spots stuck in a single digits. tomorrow night is going to be another chilly one with a touch of frost. a bit of rain in the far north—west, but elsewhere i think the fog is going to be a bigger problem, it will be quite widespread and dense on friday morning and flow to clear. one or

but on a football pitch. his play described as god like. he himself described this iconic moment at the 1986 world cup as the hand of god, when he knocked england out of the tournament and led his country to the trophy. he scored 3a goals in 91 appearances for argentina, representing them in four world cups. he played too for barcelona and napoli — winning two serie a titles in italy. his achievements are many, his legacy unparalleled. we'll be in south america shortly for reaction there but first our football correspondent andy swiss looks back on the career of the man nicknamed the golden boy. he nicknamed the golden boy. was once described as half he was once described as half angel half devil. he was once described as half angel, half devil and at his best, he was out of this world. he has burruchaga to his left and valdano to his left... he won't need any of them. 0h!
