england's tyrrell hatton produced a stunning final round, to win the abu dhabi championship. it was extremely tight at the top of the leadboard at the start of the day. but hatton surged ahead with a six—under—par 66. 0vernight leader rory mcilroy finished five shots back. hatton said it was a big boost to win so early in the season, especially with ryder cup points at stake. surreal to be honest. i think even there knocking it on the 18th even doesn't seem like i won the tournament. but obviously it is amazing. i've always loved starting my season here in abu dhabi. now to add my name on that trophy with so many great champions before me, it is a huge honour. danielle kang leads the way, at the lpga's tournament of champions on florida — she's three shots ahead jessica korda, as they go into the last remaining holes of the day. kang is hoping for her sixth tour win.

a weather front heading our way bringing cloud and rain. very slowly pushing further north and east as tuesday goes on, reaching some cold air and seeing a bit of snow to end the day into the pennines. before this system fades away overnight. and it will still be quite cold at this stage. but a change is afoot for wednesday. we will see more vigorous weather systems again with more rain and that is a concern to areas that have seen flooding not as much rain as last week but areas affected by flooding, super—sensitive to further rain so we do need to keep an eye on that as the week goes on but with these weather systems with a time for many of us and will turn milder and he could be that cold air hands across much of scotland and may be parts of northeast england. milder and waited for a time before it turns colder again into next weekend. goodbye.
