tonight at six: more pressure on scotland's first minister as nicola sturgeon faces calls to resign. a committee of msps is understood to have concluded she misled them over the goverment�*s handling of the alex salmond allegations. the scottish conservatives say she should go. the parliament was misled by the first minister. now, that is, to me, a clear breach of the ministerial code, and i think that if she had a shred of integrity, nicola sturgeon would be considering her position. a spokesperson for nicola sturgeon has accused the committee, whose report is due within days, of peddling baseless smears. also tonight: the french prime minister has the oxford—astrazeneca jab as the rollout resumes across much of the eu amid a third wave of infections. no minimum wage for care workers during periods when they have to sleep at their workplace — that's the ruling from the supreme court. sunday is census day —
