some wetter weather coming into scotland and northern ireland tomorrow. the other front across england and wales producing rain and drizzle in the morning. heading into the midlands, a lot of the rain and drizzle will peter out, cloudier skies coming to the south—east. the rain is moving southwards across scotland. wetter in the afternoon in northern ireland. cooler air coming into scotland after the rain. sunshine in the afternoon for wales and northern england, ahead of the rain. moving into friday, it is a messy day, a lot of cloud around, showers and longer spells of rain, may be a bit drier across wales. it should become drier in scotland but there is a northerly breeze coming in here, pegging the temperatures back. those temperatures are outside of the rain. heading into the weekend, from the north, higher pressure, with increasing sunshine, but in southern areas, the chance of some showers, particularly on saturday. that is all from the bbc
