shoaf and —— at chauvin. for the murder of george floyd the honour man. reverend al sharpton said one centring delete my sentence does not solve a criminaljustice problem. good evening. friday brought us a real mix of weather types. for some areas some sunshine broke through in other places we kept the cloud and the outbreaks of rain. this was the picture in whitby on friday where it was a much cooler today, about 12 degrees cooler than we had during on thursday. looking ahead towards the weekend spells of sunshine on offer, also a few showers around on saturday, more persistent rain in the south is likely to arrive on sunday but things will turn dryer further north. at the moment we've got this slow moving frontal system, not particularly active, still bringing in quite a bit of cloud around for this evening for the rest of this evening and overnight to and a few spots of rain for northern england.

one or two heavy downpours could be the odd rumble of thunder particularly across parts of wales and also into the west midlands. further south you should state mostly drive to the lie. most places saying in double figures as we head to the early hours of saturday. the weekends weather then is going to be dominated by the fact that we still got this slow—moving area of low pressure close to the south. it's not going to be a particularly active weather front on saturday but it is going to bring us a fair amount of cloud certainly. less breezy than it was on friday, still some drizzly rain here and there. particularly through parts of northeast england, southeast scotland. a few showers also breaking out through wales, midlands, northeast later in the day. elsewhere some spells of sunshine especially towards parts of england and wales, northern ireland also seen some sunshine as is the northwest of scotland but still quite cool 13 or 11! for scotland, up to about 22 degrees in the warmer spots down towards the southeast on saturday. as we head towards the second half of the weekend still a little bit of uncertainty about the detail into sunday because we've got this frontal system, this area just

pepping up the rain across parts of the southern and southwest england on sunday. looks like initially the rain could be affecting the aisles of silly, cornwall as well and then spreading further east anywhere south of the m4 corridor but they could be a bit of rain to the north of that too. most other parts of the uk avoiding the wet weather for much of the day with some sunnier spells and it will feel warmer on sunday compared to saturday for scotland and northern ireland. temperatures perhaps 21 or 22 degrees. it remains unsettled particularly in the south as we head to the first half of the new working week. most places looking a little bit drier and attach it warmer as we head towards the end of this coming week. bye for now.
