in super league, castleford tigers' hopes of reaching the end of season playoffs are over after losing 40—24 to warrington. a matty ashton hat trick doing much of the damage. castleford will now finish the season in seventh place. warrington remain in third. four times world champion sebastian vettel and canadian lance stroll, son of the owner, will race for aston martin again next season in an unchanged driver line—up. vettel won four formula one championships in a row with red bull between 2010 and 2013. executive chairman lawrence stroll said that he was "delighted to be continuing with such an excellent blend of youthful talent and experienced expertise. friday is not looking bad for most of us, but not for everybody. we are expecting some rain across western parts of the uk. on the satellite picture, you can see the reason. it's going to stall across western parts of the uk over the next two or three days. very mild, temperature is not any lower than 50 degrees. around the irish sea, wales and the southwest cloudy with rain at times.
