the headlines. britain's tyson fury defends his heavyweight title against american deontay wilder, with an 11th round knockout in las vegas. uk business secretary kwasi kwarteng defends the government's handling of the energy crisis after suppliers said the system of having a cap on prices was not fit for purpose. i think it is a critical situation. i think it is a critical situation. i am speaking to industry is all the time. high gas prices, they have quadrupled, are making an impact. that is why i am speaking to people,

listening and trying to find out a way forward. pay up to stop illegal migrants — the french government tells the uk to keep to its side of a deal to police the channel. scientists warn that the loss of biodiversity risks tipping the world into ecological meltdown. fountains of men and women from the caribbean came to serve in the royal air force in the second world war. many returned after the war to settle in britain. there is no public memorial to reflect their contribution and campaigners who would like to create one had been told it would not be inclusive. the efforts of the brave men and women who served in the royal air force during the second world war
10:32 am
are well known. but there's some parts of the story that are perhaps less familiar. glenn parsons wants to highlight the contribution of thousands who came from the caribbean to train with the raf here in filey. the nazi peril was only 26 miles away across the english channel, and the americans, it was still 18 months before they came into the war. so the call went out, it went out to the small isles of the caribbean, and farmers, fishermen, women, answered that call and came here. and i feel very strongly, as do many other people in the black community, that sacrifice to help this country has never properly been reflected. two of glenn's uncles travelled from jamaica and were trained at raf hunmanby. after the war, they returned to settle in the uk and raise their families. they were both young men at the time, my uncle gilmore westcar and edwin samuels both came here from jamaica. they were both very young men, perhaps in search of adventure. they answered the call and were proud to do so. they helped as ground staff up here,
10:33 am
and they wanted to give service to the motherland. the caribbean contribution to the war effort formed part of an exhibition in 2019, which celebrated the community's history. it was hosted by leeds* jamaica society, and today they're backing glen's campaign. it would be good to have a memorial that, you know, we could visit. and we could say, yes, that is in recognition of our men, and some women, as well. we need to pass that history on to our young people. the memorial gardens in filey pay tribute to those who served in both world wars. this is where glenn would like to see something to commemorate the caribbean contingent who trained close by. he presented his case to filey town council, but they say a specific memorial wouldn't be inclusive. what we have been told is that while they will agree to a plaque, it can only say the allies,
10:34 am
and recognise the allies. and of course it is important to recognise the contributions that were made by other countries. but "the allies" doesn't really reflect this particular group of people from the caribbean, because of course they came here not as conscripts, they came here as volunteers. filey town council says it will consider this again in november. campaigners hope it will finally agree to honour the memory of those who answered a call to protect the motherland in her hour of need. i will be back at 11. now, our gender and identity reporter reports from kenya on the controversial practice of love coaching. hello, everybody. this is robert burale, yourfriend. one minute with a coach. the coaching industry is projected to be worth $22 billion by 2022. it is one of the world's fastest growing industries.
10:35 am
gurus are not new, but in modern times, it has grown to include the practical... ..and the unconventional. now the business and lifestyle coaching industry has a lucrative addition — love. what are you waiting for? the secret is start now. and more single people than ever are paying for advice to find love. but are we just chasing a dream or is it really possible to buy love and happiness? i am your coach and yourfriend, robert. robert. how are you? robert burale is one of kenya's most popular life and love coaches. he invited me to a day retreat he was hosting for women looking for a husband. what do you think the women are hoping to get from this? they want to meet somebody who will be with them and they can live happily ever after.
10:36 am
but some are also broken and they want answers. and you are hoping to fix them? yes. the question is some would say i think i have what it takes, i have a good job, but how come it doesn't happen for me? so you will give them hard, empiricaladvice? yes. to get the guy? absolutely. because some are making mistakes. some because they believe the lie that when you get to 35, a0... that's it. yes, so any man who says come home, you rush home. i want to sleep with you. he is a hunter. he got what he wanted, he left. so as much as we will speak politely, my relationship angle of my business is called the naked truth. we will also tell them some hard things. information is power. what you take in is what you give out. allow me to invite you on a journey. robert burale also hosts relationship and life coaching
10:37 am
videos which get hundreds of thousands of views. so what happens in this room? this is just like a set. people can come and do digital productions here. tv productions. but more so, a place we can come as men and just sit and have our own time. i don't do my videos from here orfrom just the head, i do my videos from within me. so when i look at the camera, i don't see the camera. i see a human being. i see a human being desperate for some word to give them a jump—start for their life. robert burale is holding his event in an exclusive hotel owned by kenya's vice president. this will be the stage. we will be looking... everything is happening here and they are sitting facing us. we will have a raised stage.
10:38 am
you are going to be here. i am going to be here. and i will be one of the women sitting in one of the tables looking at you. exactly. the lesson is things men wish women would know. very simple things like if i am here with my woman, and there are ten other men there, i must be the centre of her. everything about me is what she wants. like i want her to acknowledge me. i want her to agree with what i'm saying. it could be right, it could be wrong, but that is how man works. who are the kind of men who feel this way? where have you heard that men feel this way? trust me, it doesn't matter the financial background, educational background. there is something that holds most men, if not all. it is the ego. the difference is some react to it, others die with it. but every man has an ego.
10:39 am
the woman is the neck, the man is the head. the man sees where you are going, which is the vision. the man hears, the man says this is where i want us to go. but, guess what, the woman is the neck. she has the power to turn where the go. to turn where the head will go. that is from my big fat greek wedding. you heard that before? was there a time when you were not as good as you are now? i am hanging on to your every word and i wonder if you have always been such a good speaker. if you have always been such a good seaker. , ., ., , speaker. there is more to being called a good — speaker. there is more to being called a good speaker _ speaker. there is more to being called a good speaker and - speaker. there is more to being called a good speaker and that i speaker. there is more to being | called a good speaker and that is all there is. but there is being a good speaker as you give life. when i speak, i speakfrom here. do i know how it feels to be hungry? yes, do i know how it feels to own only one shirt? i do. when i speak, guys, let's go on this journey, we have to rise up together. jane
