of every family concerning anything about the funeral services is going to be taken care of. we appreciate that anonymous donor for his generosity and we will ensure that those resources get into the right hands to make sure that no family who is suffering from incalculable heartbreak at this time would have to worry about a single cost with regard to anything concerning this travesty. in addition to that there are all kinds of needs as well as all kinds of services. one of the needsis all kinds of services. one of the needs is a need for mental health care and we have an abundance of mental health care services that we are going to be able to provide and that includes state and private providers that will be providing mental health assistance to anyone in the community who needs it. and

community, the funerals that need to be planned and paid for and the ongoing police investigation. just 300 miles down the road there's the national rifle association annual convention which a lot of people who support gun rights are congregating to talk about knots gun control but how laws would not have stopped the shooting as they say. greg abbott did not appear at that, he sent a video address which he paid earlier and he made that point again but as far as he is concerned and as far as many gun rights activists are concerned, laws don't prevent evil people, they don't prevent people getting other people. it’s getting other people. it's interesting _ getting other people. it's interesting because that prerecorded address to the nra was played out about a minute or two before he started speaking life where you are. the main desk. i was looking into what the gun laws are in texas and

as far as i could see there are no background checks, you don't need a licence and you don't need any training, is that right? it’s licence and you don't need any training, is that right?- training, is that right? it's not that simple- _ training, is that right? it's not that simple. so _ training, is that right? it's not that simple. so basically - training, is that right? it's not - that simple. so basically different states have different laws. there is federal law which demands a background check but not with private sales. if you go to a gun show and you buy a gun from a dealer you have to have a federal background check wherever you are in the country. if you go to your next—door neighbour and say i like that done and i want to buy it he can send it to you with no background checks or nothing at all and these are the sorts of loopholes that people who want more controls are trying to tighten. in texas they have some of the loosest gun laws in the country but so does new hampshire in the northeast which is usually considered a liberal bastion with some of the restrictions are pretty tight. you can buy a gun at a

store and walk out with it after a federal background check. you don't need a licence for it and you don't need a licence for it and you don't need a licence for it and you don't need a licence to carry it on your hip. so if you walk into anywhere in connecticut or california you would have a problem. it's very confusing and this is why this is such a minefield for legislatures particularly in congress who are having to navigate notjust a federal response but how this would impact the individual state laws. thank you very much. let us go back to greg abbott because the last of the agencies are now addressing this press conference and presumably that means that greg abbott will be speaking again and i wonder if he will be picking up that timeline that jane was talking about about that jane was talking about about that long delay before police actually went into the classroom that the event was over and the

going to be below average typically 13 to 15 degrees for the start of the new week. so far the weather is not changing very much from what we've been seeing over the past few days. we still have an area of low pressure on the cheese —— we still have no wind around so some slow moving heavy showers rotating around that area of low pressure limited amount of sunshine again the details are likely to change on tuesday and those temperatures could get higher in seven parts of england with more of a southern breeze. things are get complicated with a big area of low pressure and eventually it will push rain our way. it does not look like wednesday will be rats we have got the two showers on wednesday and most of these look like across scotland and northern ireland so my sun jan across scotland and northern ireland so my sunjan across england and wales it should be warmer and we may see temperatures back up to 20 degrees at best. here is thejeopardy holiday and we are looking at the
