ca rd card tim van rijthoven. thank you. there was a record crowd at silverstone this afternoon for one of the most entertaining british grand prix in recent years. after a frightening crash at the start, ferrari's carlos sainz came through chaotic and crazy race to claim his maiden victory in formula one, ahead of sergio perez and lewis hamilton. joe lynskey watched this one. three o'clock at silverstone on british motorsport�*s biggest day. but as the field left the grid, this. in that car was zhou guanyu, the first chinese driver in f1 in his first season. the contact with george russell, in his first home race with mercedes. he ran to help zhou out but russel�*s car, too, was damaged. his race, too, was run. half an hour in, the crowd were told zhou was ok.
