and england have their first ever commonwealth beach volleyball medal. twins javier and joaquin bello cruised to a historic triumph, taking victory in the bronze medal match to give the birmingham crowd a moment they've never seen before and may never see again. lovely that they went over to cuddle their mum. there was no medal of any colour for england's cricketers after they were hammered in the t20 bronze medal match by new zealand. after posting just 110 for nine in their 20 overs, it always looked to be well below par. sophie devine struck an unbeaten half century as the white ferns eased home with more than eight overs to spare. it's australia against india in the final and look at this, radha yadav showing some excellent awareness to get australian captain meg lanning out at the non—strikers end. australia have set india a target of 162 to win the gold medal and you can watch it live on the bbc sport website. england's netball team will also leave the commonwealth games without a medal after missing out on bronze against new zealand. the defending champions were beaten 55—48 by the silver ferns,
