friday has brought us some major disruption across eastern we have seen a 140 millimitres of rain in places over the last 48 hours. and that rain has been causing big problems with flooding. we have seen around seven severe flood warnings. being issued by the scottish environmental protection agency. that's where flooding is expected and brings with it a significant threat to life. now the rain continues to fall. all that rainwater working down means certain communities will see the flood and get worse before it gets better well into saturday western areas and dry skies needed a touch of frost around here. eastern air is staying rather cloudy. but no significant amounts of rain. in northern ireland after a sunday morning we will see outbreaks of rain arriving but not until the end of the afternoon. there is more men to come overnight and clearance of sunshine and showers for sunday.
