6:16 pm
good evening to you. his family say he was excited about becoming a dad. but before that could happen 21 year—old takayo nebhard was fatally stabbed at the notting hill carnival in august. he wasjust months he was just months away from becoming a father when he was fatally stabbed. today there is a fresh appeal to help find his killer. we have been speaking to his family. this baby boy is just two—weeks—old, but he won't ever know his dad. takayo was killed at notting hill carnival. his family say it was the first time he'd been, travelling from his home in bristol, simply hoping to have fun. he just wanted to have a good time after a two—year lockdown, that's all. i never imagined i wouldn't see him again.
6:17 pm
when they heard he'd been hurt, his parents rushed to london. they were still on the motorway when the call came. it was too late. i was just trying to think positive right from the word go, that he'd be all right, it'sjust minor, and he'd just spend a few days in hospital and then come back. # if that's my bro and he needs some help, why wouldn't i help him? # why didn't you help him?# this was how many knew takayo — a rapper and drill artist, said to be building a successful career ahead. his girlfriend says he was excited about becoming a dad — and always thinking of others. kind. loving. funny. takayo*s dad, vincent, was proud to share memories of his son with us, but he's turned the family photos to face the wall. he can no longer bear to look at them. it'sjust hard not seeing him. ijust think he's coming back. it's really tough.
6:18 pm
i always boasted about my family, i was so proud of them. we were just perfect. i know not everybody*s perfect, but my family was perfect and it'sjust ruined now. ijust dread people asking me, how many kids have you got? because i don't know how to answer that any more. four people have been arrested in connection with takayo*s murder, three of them in bristol, but they've since been released while investigations continue. police today asked for help in tracing the man in this new cctv image. officers say there would've been several hundred people around ladbroke grove station that bank holiday monday evening. many will have witnessed the attack, still more will have photos or video from around that time. they're being asked to share those with police. just, if you do know something, just come forward. cos it's not fair, especially on my son. no—one can bring the baby's father back. but the family hope for justice, and for that key information

6:22 pm
not realise that the ban was still ongoing? it seems like a long time ago. the hosepipe ban came into force three months ago at the end of august after one of the driest years on record. if you remember, river beds were dried up, parks were scorched and the ban was brought in to get river levels and reservoir levels back up and it meant that using a hosepipe to water gardens or wash cars or windows was banned. that was until today, and now the company was criticised at the time and people pointed to the fact that across london there was still a burst water mains and there were leaks which were happening. but they say the ban did work and reservoir levels are back up but the main reason for that is, as you say, the weather will stop both september and october experienced average rainfall above 130%. ~ ., , experienced average rainfall above 13096. ~ ., , experienced average rainfall above 13096. . , 13096. what is the company saying? thames water _ 13096. what is the company saying? thames water say _ 13096. what is the company saying? thames water say fixing _ 13096. what is the company saying? thames water say fixing leaks - 13096. what is the company saying? thames water say fixing leaks is . 13096. what is the company saying? | thames water say fixing leaks is the

top priority and they say they will spend over £55 million to further reduce leakage and £200 million replacing water mains over the next three years. now meet baby sienna — who has been described as a "miracle baby". she was born after her mother had recovered from breast cancer. the side effect of her treatment meant she thought she may never be able to have children. but pioneering surgery using frozen tissues changed that — and it's now hoped the procedure may help others — as luke hanrahan reports. i love you more and more each and every day. little girl sienna is a miracle baby, the first child born after pioneering ovarian surgery, without which her mother would have been left infertile. to think that it might not happen for us was really, really sad and hard to stomach. and then, sorry i'm getting emotional...
6:24 pm
and then, to have the.... sienna yells. to be able to have her is just amazing. she was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in 2019. the chemotherapy she underwent would ordinarily cause irreparable damage to the reproductive system. i didn't know if i was going to live, didn't know what was going to happen. it was really scary, it was terrifying. but before chemo began, one of her ovaries was removed as part of ground—breaking treatment to allow cancer patients both male and female to go on to have children. a team of experts at st mary's hospital have been effectively putting reproductive tissue into hibernation through a process called cryopreservation. they've even managed to do this for a four—month—old baby girl. i think it's really important that we know that some treatments that happen to children have an impact on the future fertility. so, the idea of being able to preserve future fertility is an incredible opportunity.
6:25 pm
it gave me a lot of hope, it gave me so much hope for the future. because with cancer treatment you're thinking about the here and now, and it's what's happening right now, what can we do right now to cure this? but it gave us something to look forward to. cutting edge science which gave her hope. the most amazing thing ever. nhs england is investigating proposals to formally commissioned a national service to fund other patients like this, allowing babies like sienna a chance to be born. luke hanrahan, bbc london. next: a call for more people to take up beekeeping — in a bid to protect our wildlife. and the londoner you're about to meet swapped his hard hat — for a bee suit. i'll let khalid undre share his story. bees buzz you know, we have houses in harrow, in built—up areas, and they've got ten beehives in the back garden.
6:26 pm
my name's khalid undre, and i've been beekeeping for 13 years. bees buzz so we started with six hives in harrow weald and then we found a place in epping forest where we could put our hives. one thing led to another and then we were getting invites from all over the place, really. so we ended up from six hives to over 300 hives. we're going to lift the frame and just see the hive and see how the bees are doing. i've always wanted to, you know, get into growing crops and having a bit of land, getting my wellies on and digging holes to plant trees. and that sort of moved from a hobby to a bit more of a part time role that i enjoyed doing. bees buzz they're fascinating. there's so much to learn about them. as soon as daylight hits their entrance, they're out
6:27 pm
to forage for nectar and pollen. there's plenty of room for more beehives and beekeepers around. there's not enough people doing it, really. maybe you do something to help wildlife where you are or an unusual job. we'd love to hear your story. you can see the address there, or find us on social media. ok, let's get a check on the weather now with elizabeth. you said it would be drier today, she says, thankfully. a, you said it would be drier today, she says, thankfully.— you said it would be drier today, she says, thankfully. a nice day of weather but _ she says, thankfully. a nice day of weather but still _ she says, thankfully. a nice day of weather but still rather _ she says, thankfully. a nice day of weather but still rather chilly and l weather but still rather chilly and breezy, but blue skies, some sunshine recorded by the weather watcher here in southwark and there is more rain on the way. it's going to be an unsettled week of weather, and wet and windy even tomorrow
6:28 pm
morning, but the chilly air will not be with us and it will turn milder and it is cold again tonight and it will drop to one or two celsius but look what happens tomorrow morning as we see the wind picking up the cloud increase and outbreaks of rain and this is how we will be starting tomorrow morning in the rush hour, so spray on the roads, tricky travelling, heavy downpours of rain but that clears as we head into the mid—or late morning and behind it a few showers and it does stay windy, but there will be dry weather through the afternoon and some spells of sunshine and temperatures higher, so for most of us between eight and 10 degrees, but for tomorrow between ten and 12 degrees and those temperatures are set to rise further as we head through the week. this is thursday's weather, wet and windy again, particularly through the afternoon but friday at the moment he's got a big ego and

thatis the moment he's got a big ego and that is driven into the top. he's got half a billion followers on social media. it wasn't going to be managed is declined, and he has declined. he isn't the player that he once was and there's no shame in that. he's 37 years old and gone on for much longer. but he is also human. he scored three goals this season and two of them were against a moldovan team, so he isn't who he was and i think he struggled to accept that. but the managers got to oversee it. the manager'sjob is to get their team winning matches. there will be more stumbling blocks are on the way —— along the way, and he has to make the difficult decisions. i think most of manchester united fans would back the minister on this one. it’s the minister on this one. it's
