one big talking point in the build—up to this match and that is there decision to drop captain owen farrell from the starting line. farrell from the starting line. farrell admittedly has not been the greatest form recently. he particularly struggled with the boots. he missed four ottoman six kicks against wales and england last match. but that said, there's a really big call by steve because farrell hasn't been left out of a full strength england team since 2015. he's been replaced in the starting line—up by marcus smith who offers perhaps a more adventurous, a more expansive style of rugby, which england feel they need here against france. as foreigners the captaincy goes, ella scans will start as the skipper. he has been a cornerstone of the england scrum for some years now. he's been nicknamed baby rhino because of his rampaging runs. now today earlier on, we heard from england scrum coach, richard
