goodbye for now. hello. some pretty nasty downpours out there this evening heading from south—west england, south wales through the midlands towards lincolnshire, yorkshire and east anglia. could be the odd rumble of thunder with those as well and some minor flooding possible too. so some rain by the end of the night tangled across this central swathe of the uk. many though, will become dry with some clear skies around and quite a mild night as well. temperatures in much of england, wales staying in double figures. as for thursday, we've got the remnants of that overnight cloud rain through parts of northern england. southern scotland gradually clearing. 0vernight rain in shetland will gradually ease away as well. most of us will see some sunny spells, but could be actually quite a day of april showers as we see some big looming clouds develop. a bringing downpours for some, not for everyone could be the heaviest with some hail and thunder through the midlands and into parts of yorkshire and lincolnshire and some a longer spell of rain at times through the south west towards the home counties, but warm for all. particularly where the sun's out could hit 17 degrees. still mild a little cooler for friday and saturday, but very windy on friday across the southern counties of england and south wales.
