few seconds, and the police presence is already there, but it is clear from the bit of information from the reuters news agency quoting from the police that this is an ongoing situation and it appears they are still searching for what they describe as an active aggressor in this area of east main in louisville in kentucky. that line has raised eyebrows straightaway, a lot of attention, because they are saying straightaway that the shooting has resulted in mass casualties. no word in terms of fatalities or numbers or injuries, but i'm sure we will learn all of those details in the next little while. that news just coming into us in the last little while. let us come away from that. we will return to that story as soon as there is more detail. let's turn to

3:14 pm
are backing joe biden will point to, that he beat mr trump that time around. it is that drip drip of will he, won't he? watching that clip there, jill biden herself suggested that... and that made headlines as well. there is a bit of an empty space at the moment as people wait to see if the serving president does plan on going ahead for 2024. of course, strong indications are that he will, but until those papers are filed and the official announcement is made, we are not there yet. it is sliuhtl is made, we are not there yet. it is slightly surreal _ is made, we are not there yet. it is slightly surreal that as we talk politics we are looking at pictures of the president and the first lady with two giant rabbits waving to the camera either side of them. this is the tradition that every president goes through, easter they are on the white house lawn. you heard the first lady welcoming children to today's events, but in terms of any sort of election that lies ahead. if

how surprising is it to you that elon musk has got the sarong and so muddled up about the bbc? it is a pattern that brits are pretty familiar with, constant u—turns. a quick decision and a realisation that it won't wash. in quick decision and a realisation that it won't wash.— that it won't wash. in this case here, that it won't wash. in this case here. putting _ that it won't wash. in this case here, putting the _ that it won't wash. in this case here, putting the level- that it won't wash. in this case here, putting the level of- that it won't wash. in this case | here, putting the level of state funded media, which for a lot of licence fee payers is incredibly incorrect. it is a reflection of elon musk*s approach to leadership. he wants to get his own hands dirty with a lot of the decisions he makes. he makes a lot of decisions on a whim himself, and as your item showing before, your correspondent got in touch with him, and he very quickly was presented with the other side and turned it round. it is a reflection of the fact that, what people who work at twitter tell me, that he feels very reluctant to accept anyone else's opinion when it is inside the organisation. you can

people's appetite for dealing with this. we are seasonally very similar, these inappropriate labels are very similar to his verification badges that he initially decided he wanted to charge for, then he wanted to and verify all of the previous recipients, and effectively along the way he is stumbling from one error to another. at the moment, people who have not paid to be verified have been told they have three or four weeks until they are on badge, and it is a reflection that a lot of people, maybe when they first —— may be when he first bought the platform thought, i don't want to use this. ...to to some extent, he is whimsical —— his whimsical, short termist approach is... people who is the platform. one of those broadcasters who have been labelled a state affiliated media have said they will not be tweeting any more until it is

3:27 pm
overnight tonight, showers continue across north—western areas of the uk, otherwise the weather becomes drier with clear spells. the winds start to fall a bit lighter. temperatures three to 6 degrees. quite a chilly start to tuesday morning but for many, it should be a bright enough morning tomorrow with some early morning sunshine. showers from the word go for western scotland and through the afternoon, it does turn more unsettled with rain starting to move into northern ireland, wales and the south—west of england. temperatures about ten to 14 degrees. through tuesday afternoon, we will start to see the wind picked up, but through tuesday night, it gets really windy across these western areas. gusts of wind reaching 50 or 60 mph quite widely. however, we could see a zone of even stronger winds if we get a deeper area of low pressure and some of our most exposed locations could then get when gusts of 70, maybe 80 mph. could then get wind gusts of 70, maybe 80 mph. but there is still some uncertainty about the strength of those very strongest winds. either way, as we head into wednesday, the low pressure

takes up residence across the uk. it is going to be an unsettled day. many of us seeing lengthy outbreaks of rain, if not some heavy showers and thunderstorms around as well. it is going to stay windy with gusts of 40, 50 even 60 mph, and with colder air around, might actually see even a bit of snow across some of the highest mountains in northern ireland and scotland as well. mostly above 400 metres elevation. but it will feel quite cool wherever you are. beyond that, it will start to calm down later in the week but it does stay quite unsettled with further outbreaks of rain. next week, it starts to turn a good deal milder. goodbye for now.
