we have heard it has settled. you will remember that it was due to start yesterday. there were delays for 2h hours. the case had got under way, but we understand it has now settled. our correspondent michelle fluery is outside the court in wilmington in delaware. michelle, this is literallyjust happening. what can you tell us? i think you can really say this was a settlement on the courthouse steps, right at the very last second, while we were waiting for the two parties to get up and give opening statements. now, the trial has been averted. what we understand so far is that the judge came back to the court room and said that this case had settled thanks to the delaware jurors —— and thanks to. without you, the parties would not have been able to resolve their situation. we don't have any further information at that point. at this stage stop we
