that's available to watch on the bbc iplayer now. the 19th of april may be remembered as a momentus day in the history of rugby league. today, clubs have voted to accept major changes to the way the professional game is structured in this country. it means, from 2025 clubs in the top three tiers will be graded to determine which division they play in. it won't be based from their on—field performances alone. to tell us more, we'rejoined by sports reporter adam wild. what do the gradings mean? this is the latest answer to the problem that rugby league has grappled with with generations, he does make itself more appealing to areas outside of the traditional north of england heartland. a year ago the sport engaged the services of a sports management company img, they came up with a raft of proposals and this is the first man to come into play. clubs will be graded on five different criteria. of course on the field but also club of course on the field but also club finances, theirfan base and stadium
