have been at there and manchester city boss pep guardiola was not allowed him to take the penalty. football is i think whatever is done is done. it is the premier league and they said goodbye and go home and they said goodbye and go home and after is over. i was slightly fearful but thankfully we sorted in the dressing room and were playing with too much for your get on the front foot and — challenge manchester city. and give us an opportunity to get back in the game with a fantastic finish. when you see man city running the clock down for in their own corner in the penalty area you may have a chance. so we had a chance for it's the very end but it did not quite happen. chelsea finally got a win today — without a victory in their last 7 in the league after beating bournemouth today at the vitality.

two late goals, from benoit badiashile and joao felix gave the blues a 3—1 win... frank lampard's first since as interim manager. relegation remains a possibility for bournemouth with three games left, while chelsea are now 11th in the table. we have come off the back of a tough run, it has been a tough year, there's lot of work to do. in the performance and result in isolation i thought we were really good. we deserved to win the game. it is a nice step forward for the group, for the lads to work hard to come to the place that has been tough for many things this year. i'm very happy. it did not feel like we deserved to lose, really. i thought there was an even contest that obviously could have gone either way. there are world—class players on the pitch so that there is the chance that when they get there, big chance that they will take it. just disappointed because we have been a lot more clinical recently in front of the goal it's a chases really well and today we missed a couple and term of the wide free kick goal is disappointing and an error

from us them the chance and unfortunately we don't get away with it. they punished us twice for a couple of errors. tottenham ended their li—match winless run — with victory over crystal palace and another landmark for harry kane today. he came the outright second—highest goal—scorer in premier league history. kane's goal in first half stoppage time was enough for spurs to win 1—0 and reach 209 goals in the competition — surpassing former manchester united and everton striker wayne rooney. harry isjust harry, it is just a clinical finish. his overall play was outstanding. he is a team player. so all of his individual plays he gets are outstanding and well—deserved but ultimately i seek team player that is working hard for the team to get points and that is very good thing to see. i thought that our performance throughout was very satisfying. but we controlled the game extremely well for large periods. i thought some of our attacking play was very interesting. they defended the box well. but if we look at our performance over the 90 odd minutes, on another day we certainly would have come away with something.
7:37 pm
wolves pulled further clear of any relegation scrap — with a hard—fought 1—0 victory over aston villa... centre back toti with the only goal of the game inside the first 10 minutes. wolves now 10 points clear of the drop zone. villa piled the pressure late on — but the loss dents their chances of making into europe their manager hasn't given up hope though. we are still keeping chances for a better position, of course after this defeat we are three points behind tottenham but we will play next week at home and i think we have to support. we will try again to be or to keep the option to be in the european position and we have the chances. we arrived here five months ago and we had matches in the bottom and for the next team was in four points. we have a very bad situation.
7:38 pm
i want to highlight the work, the club, the staff, the owner and above all the players. so let's take a look at how it stands at the top of the premier league table manchester city extend their lead at the top, now 4 points clear of arsenal — who play newcastle tomorrow. tottenham are back up to 6th, with aston villa dropping down following their loss today. and it's really tight at the bottom — there's a crunch game between nottingham forest and southampton on monday. everton and leicester also have matches on monday too... bournemouth still not completely out of trouble — and west ham have a huge match against manchester united tomorrow. so lots to play for. dundee are celebrating promotion back to the big time of the scottish premiership — after an 8 goal thriller which saw them edge queens park to seal promotion last night.
7:39 pm
second—half strikes from lyall cameron and luke mccowan proved the difference, in a 5—3 win over queens park — to see dundee top the scottish championship... queens park now go to a playoff round.... but dundee back in the top flight, after their relegation last season. involving sides towards the bottom. ross county's win over livingston means they're just a point off the bottom — after losses for kilmarnock and dundee united. hibernian also took a step close to qualifying for europe as they got the better of challengers st mirren. into the english football league now... it's the last day of the season on sunday for league one and on monday, the final standings in the championship and league 2 will be decided — although in the championship, the relegation battle is over. after huddersfield completed their revival under manager neil warnock on thursday night. joe lynskey reports.
7:40 pm
neil warnock is 7a but it is a feeling that never gets old. he's kept huddersfield in the championship and when he came in they were bottom. with an extra special strike! spending three months at the town that goes back to retirement. reading instead go down to the third tier and the championships bottom three is settled. but the race for the top six is not over. coventry are one of five teams who on monday, could secure one of the last playoff places. on the weekend of a coronation there are several permutations but for the sku blues to be here is remarkable enough. in 2017 they brought in mark robbins. he is now lead them from league two to the brink of the top flight. you stick together and work together and the support that we have, you can achieve anything. and the fact that the supporters have behind us and every step of this period that i have been in charge is a testament to everyone. i think it is an incredible story.

this is derby county's first year in week one since 1986 but has not been easy. plymouth and ipswich have gone up automatically and derby need to win on the last dayjust to get in the playoffs. there's no point testifies in about now you just have to go in it fully focused it on what we are trying to do and play our best and _ give yourself a chance. at the foot of league one, 3 of four teams willjoin for screen in the fourth year. they have 13 a row just to stay in touch. but at the top of the league to it is a long wait from northampton. this time last year where they were not on the last day and thought that would seal promotion until bristol rovers one 7—0, that goal swing took them up and northampton stayed in the four rules here.
7:42 pm
this time they know one more win at tranmere will take them up. i love that we have had plenty of experiences here and fighting for the top but we have been doing it all season. we have been doing all the season so, we know the end goal. on thursday in huddersfield there was yorkshire euphoria. across the weekend more teams look at the same. 46 games in a could also change on the last match. let's have a quick look at some of the other stories making the headlines today. some of the first team squad have been paid for this month while others have not. the remaining wages are due to be paid on tuesday for headerfields. chelsea star sam kerr played her header fields. part in the king's coronation, carrying the australian flag into westminster abbey as part of the commonwealth. she thanked chelsea boss emma hayes for allowing her to miss training to do it, and said it was a "tremendous honour"... they're back under way in the third round at the wells fargo championship

starts with a first step. lee came liverpool breeding branford 1-0 to lee came liverpool breeding branford 1—0 to go up to fifth in the hammer league ahead of tighten them on the hunt for champions league place. all the details from the game and the rest of the days primarily on the bbc sport website. that is it from us we will see you soon take care. that is it from us we will see you soon take care. hello there. things are looking better for part two of the coronation week. we should see more sunshine around throughout sunday and it should feel a lot warmer as well. they'll still be a few showers dotted around, maybe the north and the east, but then it's all downhill again as we head into bank holiday monday. another frontal system working in off the atlantic will bring rain and that will be followed
7:57 pm
by plenty of showers. and i think sunshine will be quite limited. so this is monday's rain on the pressure chart. this is today's rain slowly pushing northwards and eastwards into the north sea. gradually, it will eventually turn a bit drier. there'll be a legacy of cloud and some showers, but clearer skies towards the south and certainly across the north and west. so it's here where temperatures will fall into single digits. but another mild nights come much of england and wales 10 to 12 celsius. so we start at sunday off a bit of a murky start, think with some cloud, but the sunshine should break that cloud up quite quickly and we should see brightening up nicely and into the afternoon. many places will stay dry. the shower risk will be central, eastern scotland, central eastern england. and then later in the day it will turn windier and cloudy with some rain for northern ireland. but temperatures will respond. it's going to feel warmer, particularly england and wales could see up to 20, 21 degrees, 18 degrees in the central belt of scotland. but like i mentioned, it doesn't last. although it will be a dry night for central and eastern parts, it'll turn wetter and windier out west, but milder as well. some warmer air moving in with this rain temperatures dipping
7:58 pm
into single digits across eastern england under those clear skies. so this is the pressure chart then for bank holiday monday. we've got the weather front spreading from west to east across the country. more isobars on the chart so it will be blustery as well. it could start briefly dry and bright across the far south east, but soon the cloud, the wind and the rain will arrive here as well and it stays wet, as you can see. for many could see some brightness. scotland, northern ireland, but that will set off some showers and these could turn out to be heavy and thundery as well. so with more breeze, more cloud, more rain around, its not going to feel quite as warm on monday. temperatures generally for most of us around the mid—teens. and as we push off out of monday into the rest of the week, low pressure always nearby, it does remain fairly unsettled. these weather fronts will enhance shower activity, could see showers or even longer spells of rain at times. a bit of brightness, too. and although temperatures will start at around average as that low pressure continues to bring north westerly winds, it'll turn a little bit fresher for all of us.
