it is the biggest military ceremonial event seen in this country for seven decades. says the coronation of queen elizabeth ii in 1953. tens of thousands of people will line the processional breaks, and tens of millions will watch around the globe. so, the pressure to make sure no fit or hoof is out of place is huge. just a line of breaking news to bring you, this related to buckingham palace, police there say they have arrested a man outside the palace. it is early tuesday night. hours before the rehearsal is due to kick

off. right in front of buckingham palace, a reminder of the important role the security services will play, making sure everything goes to plan. a man is detained by police after suspected shot gun cartridges were thrown into the palace grounds. cordons were put up in the area and a precautionary controlled explosion carried out. it is being treated, according to the met police, as an isolated mental health incident. once the security incident concludes, the military rehearsal gets under way.

hello there. it is a shame we had so much rain on saturday but things are looking up for sunday, it is going to be the best day of the coronation weekend. it is going to be drier and warmer, possibly the warmest day of the year so far but by the time we get to monday, back into cloud and wet this is the cloud that will bring the rain from the atlantic on monday. in between two weather systems for sunday, hence that drier theme, in between this band of wet weather coming in from the atlantic and the wet weather we had earlier moving out to the north sea. so, dry, by the time we get a sunday morning, temperatures 9—11 c, it could be cloudy with a bit of mist and fog around, the sunshine will get to work on that lengthy spells of sunshine developing. towards the end of the morning the odd shower breaking out across scotland,
