remnants of stowe oscar pulling in warmer, more humid air. showers into callable and the channel islands by the end of friday, heavy and thundery, temperatures rise across the uk over the weekend, humidity rises and it looks like we will finally see some rain. friday is dry for the majority but increasing humidity across the south of the uk and on saturday showers pushing to the west, by sunday we could seat seven anywhere and some will be really happy. some spots could see the best part of an inch or 25 millimetres of rain in the space of an hour, a big change to come. thanks, susan. that's it. you can keep up with all the latest developments on the bbc website, but the news continues here on bbc one as we join our colleagues across the nations and regions for the news where you are.
