climb, perhaps 22—23 in north—west scotland, could see 27 in parts of southern england. friday night is going to be a pretty warm and humid one and as we get into saturday, this area of low pressure swirling to the south—west of us will start to the south—west of us will start to throw this frontal system in our direction. this will bring some hit and miss thunderstorms. some places will not see them but if you do get one of these channels on saturday it could be very heavy, some torrential rain, frequent lightning, hail, gusty winds, but ahead of that temperatures went to 6—29, possibly 30 degrees in parts of eastern england. certainly the warmest weather we've seen so far this summer and the evenings, nights, much warmer than they have been. if you are off bed saturday night, about 10pm, temperatures around 21 degrees, very different from the cool and fresh nights we've had of late. for sunday still some of the warmth and humidity around but the
