part of the eu resettlement scheme. simon, we can see the flowers behind you but we can also see nottingham getting back to some sort of normality. i know there have been a number of vigils. just tell us how the community is getting back to normal and coming to terms with what happened earlier this week on tuesday. you can see the flowers here and this has really become a focal point for a community trying to make sense of what happened. if i show you the situation over here, you can see actually the market we normally have on a friday is here. so in some ways things are getting back to normal. the flowers they are very much a reminder of those awful events on tuesday. now, this of course as you say was where the vigil took place last night. i was here in amongst the crowd. it was very, very emotional. you have the families of the three victims who spoke to thousands of people here wanting to thank them for their support. two of those who died were

students at the university of nottingham. the third victim was a 65—year—old school caretaker. and you got a real sense from the families ofjust how devastated they were. and just how they are trying to fathom this, trying to come to terms with what has happened. but the message from the families was the message from the families was the community needs to stay united, needs to come together and needs to support each other. and i think the fact so many people are bringing flowers, bringing football shirts because the three who died were very keen sports fans, it gives you a sense of even if the people here didn't know the victims they have been really moved by what has happened. 0k, simon, for now thank you. that is simonjones i live in nottingham. the line breaking news to bring you related to a separate stabbing attack, this time of 48—year—old man has been arrested after a police officer was stabbed at an address in maidstone. police saying that happened on thursday evening. so last night. police say a
