was accused of using coercive and controlling behaviour over a three—year period. at his trial last year the jury failed to reach a verdict. we are expecting a retrial, but today the prosecution said it would be offering further evidence against him. that is because kate gravel said that due to the toll that had been taken on her since giving evidence she was no longer willing to give evidence this time. thejudge then ordered willing to give evidence this time. the judge then ordered that he be found not guilty on all three charges. we had a brief statement his defence barrister who said that ryan giggs was relieved that the prosecution against them had finally come to an end after three years of trying to clear his name and he was now looking forward to rebuilding his life and career as an innocent man. england captain millie bright says the lionesses will be pausing discussions over win bonuses and commercial structures until after the women's world cup, which starts in two days' time. bright released a statement saying the players were disappointed that there had been no resolution
