good afternoon. i am starting in the south—east of europe. we were hearing the latest on the wildfires early on, but quite a big change in the weather here. this chart shows temperatures compared with the average. where you see the blue colours coming in, that shows below—average temperatures. that said, it is still pretty dry and quite windy at times so those fires are not going to disappear. at least things are cooling a little. warming up things are cooling a little. warming up again towards the western mediterranean as we head into the weekend. it has not been particularly warm here, but today quite muggy and humid with a lot of clout and bits and pieces of rain. with that muggy, humid feel and where the cloud is breaking up, you can see in some places it has been, worcestershire a good example of that, and temperatures are climbing given sunshine. it is a mishmash of weather this afternoon, areas of clive, mr and mark and bits of rain and sunny spells lifting temperatures to 2a degrees. cooler
