hello from the bbc sport centre. we'll start with the rugby world cup — and australia head coach eddiejones says he still feels he's the right man forjob, and apologised to the fans following their record loss to wales at the tournament. the defeat leaves his side on the brink of elimination from the world cup, at the pool stages, for the first time in history. wales set the tempo, and easily cruised to a a0 points to 6 win against the wallabies, sealing their spot in the quarter finals, but for australia, their fate is out of their hands, given their previous loss to fiji, who are currently second in the pool with a game in hand. i'm a proud australian. i hate to see australian rugby do as poorly as we've been doing, particularly under my reign. you know, i came back to want to try to help, but there's not only the wallabies we've got to improve, we've got to improve the whole

system of australian rugby. and that's not an excuse. but we've just got to, we've got to have a really good look at ourselves and see what we've got to do to improve the way we're going about our rugby. to the premier league now — and another busy weekend full of goals with the pressure building on several managers — including chelsea boss mauricio pochettino — and paul heckingbottom at sheffield united. the blades were on the end of a biggest thumping of the season — 8—0 they lost to newcastle united — at bramall lane. a record league defeat for them — for newcastle a massive boost for them, after losing three of their first five. but for sheffield united — it's four defeats in their first five games, with the team bottom of the table. no one wants to see that. the supporters are first class, you could hear them all the way through. it's been a tough loss for everyone here, support staff and the players. it's been a tough week and we wanted to do our bit to try and change that
11:47 am
and we have failed. a tough week. you can't feel sorry for yourself, we're ready to go tomorrow morning. there's things we have to address on that, stay away from it but the good thing is you have always got another game. chelsea can't seem to buy a win at the moment — despite the huge outlay on players, mauricio pochettino*s side fell to their third loss of the season, in their defeat to aston villa. they've just five points from their opening six games. ollie watkins with the only goal as villa climb to 6th, just two points off the top four. chelsea's only win in the league has been at luton — and while the manager felt they were unlucky — it's still their worst start to a campaign in eight years. i think we are... confident in the way that we perform only we are missing the school. we need to never give up and keep working because we would change in a way that we are working. megan rapinoe's international

there has been outrage in spain. there's outrage in spain where naked images of school girls have been circulating in a small town. the images are fake. it's believed they've been created using artificial intelligence and carry the faces of real teenagers. the police there are investigating. guy hedgecoe reports. almendralejo is a small, sleepy town, but many of its families are having their worlds turned upside down by technology. nude images of girls aged between 11 and 16 have been circulating on messaging apps. but the pictures are not real. they were created using artificial intelligence. translation: even i had to look twice because i had doubts. - my daughter's crying all the time. her self—esteem is already very low, so this is terrible for her. a total of 28 girls have complained that fake nude pictures of them have been circulating on messaging apps. the images were created using real photos of the same girls, fully clothed, often taken from their own social media accounts. these were then fed into an ai application which provided imagined pictures of the girls unclothed.
11:55 am
police are investigating at least ten boys, aged 12 to 14, who have been identified as being involved. there is also one case of a girl who was allegedly the target of an extortion attempt. translation: even if they are manipulated images, . if they are realistic images, they are considered child pornography. i spoke to the mother of one of the girls affected. translation: the girls appear naked i in the pictures, and in a situation i which looks pornographic. the worry is that these pictures could end up on pornographic websites, and imagine the impact that could have on a girl. what's been the effect on all this of the people of almendralejo? translation: this is a game which is leading to crimes i being committed and irreparable damage being caused. there are cases of women previously have committed suicide because their privacy has been violated. but while this case has shaken a small spanish town, it is clear that with al technology so readily available, this could have happened almost anywhere. guy hedgecoe, bbc news, spain.

now it's time for a look at the weather. hello again. today is essentially going to be a breezy day with sunshine and showers. but as we head to the middle part of the week, wednesday looks like it could bring us some stormy conditions. but what we have at the moment are a few showers getting in across parts of wales, northern england, northern ireland, but the bulk of them will be across scotland where they could be heavy and thundery. still gusty winds across the north and also the west, gusting in excess of 40mph. but a lot of dry weather, a fair bit of sunshine, with highs up to 23 degrees. now, through this evening and overnight we hang on to a lot of clear skies at first, but then a system coming up from the south will introduce some humid conditions and some showers across wales, south—west england, the midlands and southern counties. and at the same time, we also have a weather front bringing rain in across northern ireland and the outer hebrides. now, both of these fronts through the course of tomorrow are going to push north—eastwards and you can see from the isobars it's going to be another breezy day in the south,
11:57 am
but windy in the north. so the showers continue to push up into the north sea, the rain moves out of northern ireland, across northern england and into scotland, and behind it for most it will still be dry, but there still will be a few residual showers with highs up to about 22 or 23. now, as we head on from tuesday into wednesday, we've got this developing area of low pressure which is going to bring us the stormy conditions, some heavy rain, but also some strong winds. we start off with a lot of dry weather. the cloud builds ahead of the low pressure arriving. and then in it comes, widespread gales developing. widely inland we are looking at 60 to70mph gusts. at 50 to 60mph gusts. and these are the temperatures, 14 to 20 degrees, but also some heavy rain. so this could well lead to some disruption. the strongest winds will be around the irish sea coast, 60 to 75mph gusts. but potentially there could be a little bit stronger than that. now, as we head overnight
11:58 am
wednesday into thursday, that low pressure eventually tracks northwards and moves away. then we've got this little bump in the ice of us as a transient ridge of high pressure comes in. then we've got this little bump in the isobars as a transient ridge of high pressure comes in. so thursday morning we see the back edge of that stormy weather moving away. behind it, a mixture of bright spells, sunshine and showers, more showers coming into the west and also the south through the day with highs of 19.
