that should happen over the next three days, during that negotiated pause in the fighting. there is also scope for that pause to be extended — if the two sides can agree a further exchange of prisoners and hostages. however, israel has not withdrawn its military from gaza — and has made clear that it intends to continue its operation against hamas. meanwhile, more aid is being allowed into gaza. on friday, around 150 trucks carrying medical supplies, fuel and food entered the strip through the rafah crossing. returning to the 2a hostages released from gaza on friday, they have spent the night in hospitals in israel. the israeli children's hospital has released a video of hostages reuniting with their loved ones.

and this is sarah al—suwaisa — one of the palestinian women who was released from israeli detention. here's what she had to say to reporters after being freed. translation: the israelis came at ten in the morning and told usj that there was a deal. we were suffering from difficult circumstances and tear gas was fired at us. we were wearing head covers all the time. the situation was humiliating and included psychological torture in addition to cutting off the electricity for the prisoners. we were suffering from the cold without the electricity and no—one helped us. only hamas cared. those who felt our suffering, i thank them very much and we love them very much. live now to our middle east correspondent, yolande knell, in jerusalem. hello. just talk us through what we are expecting today. late

theirfamily members. some of families receiving medical care for their family members. some of the hostages were older women, one as old as 85, and they have all needed special care, and they have been getting psychological counselling as well. we were told by the israeli military as well to remember that all of them had lost relatives ought still has relatives in captivity, following those attacks by hamas back on the 7th of october, exactly seven weeks ago. on the palestinian side, there were some issues, but it was not unusual when you have prisoner releases where it border police and soldiers used tear gas to try to stop any celebrations taking place, as families had gathered at one of the big checkpoints at ramallah, going back to the occupied west bank. certainly, in occupied eastjerusalem, families were not allowed to have parties, celebrations of any kind, as their loved ones arrived back home. i

think all of that was to be expected, overall, that the choreography worked relatively well. we went to see what happened thought that we will wait to see what happens with the next batch of hostages. many of the people in the first batch came from a kibbutz in the —— near the gaza strip. there were also hostages taken from other locations that saw a lot of violence that day, and it may be that others need to have greater medical care we have seen already.— need to have greater medical care we have seen already. thank you so much for that. let's just take you live now and let you know what we will be monitoring and what we will be keeping an eye on. let's go to the rafah crossing where we are keeping an eye on a couple of things. firstly, it is aid, heading in. yesterday, the first day of four in the pores of fighting it was a very significant day when it comes to aid and tracks getting in, with fuel, medical

coming back to london, there is a march under way right now in support of palestinians in gaza. let's get more now from our correspondent simonjones who's in central london. once again, tens of thousands of people asked on the street, they're setting off from here, park lane, planning to march down to westminster and they are calling for a permanent ceasefire. if you take a look, you can see some of the crowds, and they have palestinian flags, they have also got placards, many of them are calling for freedom for palestine and calling for that immediate permanent ceasefire. of course, this takes place in the backdrop of the four—day truce, the temporary truce, if it does indeed hold. that is some level of optimism, but equally, speaking to one of the organisers, he told me
1:19 pm
that his fear is simply a this four—day truce, the bombing will begin once again, and, ultimately, it is only going to be a stay of execution in his words, the palestinian people in gaza. what is different this time, although there is a big police presence. we are told 1500 officers on the streets of central london throughout the course of this weekend, police are handing out leaflets. i got a copy of one of them, it says, keep on the right side of the law. effectively, this is saying to the protesters, on behalf of the police, what they can and can't do. it is making it very clear that police say they will not tolerate any form of hate speech, they won't tolerate any form of support for hamas which is a proscribed organisation here in the uk. we know already that one person has been arrested. he was carrying a placard with some nazi symbols on it, so the police say they will take
1:20 pm
action if necessary. the organisers say, however, they are expecting many people to take to the streets. the last protest was here a couple of weeks ago, of this size, and that coincided with armistice day, so that proved to be controversial. there is a lot of debate about policing, and the met police, that has certainly led to an increase in community tensions. i think this time we are seeing the political rhetoric has been dialled down, but the uk home secretary, james cleverly, who has just started the uk home secretary, james cleverly, who hasjust started in this role, said he has made it clear to the metropolitan police that he wants to make sure the police also ensure that the jewish community here ensure that thejewish community here in london ensure that the jewish community here in london feels protected. he says it is clear that many in the jewish community are feeling intimidated, are feeling extremely worried by the situation here, but, certainly, a lot of protesters. they are currently being held here, as part of the march was not the first
