this. there have been a few glimpses of individuals, i'm very sorry to say, who looked to be making this a partisan issue. as we look ahead i think the critical thing will be to maintain that unity. to avoid making this a partisan political issue. we don't know the motivation of the young person committing this act of violence. we know that frequently there is a mental health issue involved. we need to wait and see as to the motivation. there is no doubt that this will have a very significant impact on the campaign going forward. a lot of people are talking about what the impact will be on the election and the results. that is impossible to know. but it already has an immediate impact on
