0fficers investigating allegations of historical sex offences made against the actor and comedian russell brand have sent a file of evidence to prosecutors. mr brand has previously been interviewed three times by police following an investigation by the sunday times, the times and channel 4's dispatches. he has denied the allegations. frances read reports. russell brand has faced a number of accusations of serious sexual offences which first came to light after an investigation last year by the sunday times and the times and channel 4's dispatches. he was accused of rape and sexual assault at the height of his fame between 2006 and 2013, and then more accusations followed. i was very promiscuous.
