let's take a look at some of those. the governor of south dakota — kristi noem — has been named as us homeland security chief. trump says he plans to nominate former director of national intelligencejohn ratcliffe to serve as the director of the cia. also on the list — fox news channel host and army national guard officer — pete hegseth, is expected to be appointed as secretary of defence. taking a look at the middle east, mr trump has nominated new york real estate developer, stephen witkoff to be his special envoy to the middle east. and the president—elect also wants to put forward mike huckabee to be his ambassador to israel. mr huckabee is a former arkansas governor and was a candidate for the republican party presidential nomination in both 2008 and 2016. our north america correspondent, david willis, has more.

and isolationist. donald trump will be america first but marco rubio has been strong on iran and china and also the national security adviser, mike voltz, who is the former congressman from florida and also i believe the first green beret, also does not seem to be someone of their isolationist america first ilk. he served in afghanistan, he served abroad and i think trump is setting up and i think trump is setting up a kind ofa and i think trump is setting up a kind of a difference between those who will be isolationist and those that will be america first and we heard the homeland security will be definitely america first immigration and in addition to the borders are tom homan. so it is shaping up to be an interesting administration. it to be an interesting administration. . ., , administration. it certainly will be when _ administration. it certainly will be when you've - administration. it certainly will be when you've got. administration. it certainly will be when you've got a l will be when you've got a disruptor right there in the middle of it as well, the
