evening, among the managers at manchester united since sir alex ferguson stepped down 11 years ago, we've had a chosen one and a special one, full time boss number six, ruben amorim, says he's "simply the right guy" to turn the club around. that work starts at ipswich on sunday and amorim, who won two league titles with sporting, faced the media for the first time today in his official capacity as manchester united's head coach. call me naive, but i actually believe i am the right guy in the right moment. i could be wrong. but the earth so will turn, the sun will rise again. i'm not worried about that. i truly believe that i am the

taking just under 25 minutes for the vote to go through with 16 of the 20 clubs voting in favor of the proposed rule changes. which relate to sport ship deals and also shareholder loans it was only the defending champions manchester city, nottingham forest, aston villa and newcastle united who vetoed the changes. that will be a huge relief to the premier league. one of the changes as a tweak of the wording, which will mean that clubs only need to prove that a proposed deal could be a fair market value as opposed to would be a fair market value, which was a change they made earlier this year. another is that low interest shareholder loans will no longer be excluded from the associated party transaction rules. the push for change came from an independent panel ruling that a few of these associated party transaction rules were unlawful. thank him as part of a legal challenge instigated by manchester city. after the meeting

here at that luxury london hotel the premier league had verbal backing from both chelsea and measures to united, the latter being a particular interest as it came from the clubs chief executive who was previously chief operating officer at manchester city. at today's meeting the premier league chief executive appealed to clubs to collaborate rather then be adversaries he will be relieved by today's verdict but he knows that these rules could come under further legal challenge and he knows that the league remains in legal loggerheads with manchester city and that division continues. a woman who accused mixed martial arts fighter conor mcgregor of raping her in a dublin hotel has won her claim against him for damages in a high court civil case. after over 6 hours of deliberations the jury delivered their verdict that he had assaulted her, with the judge awarding nikita hand just under 250 thousand euros.
