— i'mjane dougall. top of the table for the new year after trouncing saracens, it's a great day for bath's premiership title hopes. ryanjoyce comes through a third round thriller to make it into the last 16 at the pdc world championship. and we hearfrom unsung hero award winner adam kenyon on the archery club that helps its members beyond the sport. welcome to the programme. it's been a busy day in rugby union, with a stunning performance from bath at the rec. they put 10 tries past saracens to open up a five point gap at the top of the table. the 68 points to 10 victory underlined their credentials as title contenders at the halfway point of the campaign. patrick gearey has this report.

there's so much increased attention on this event and the sport of darts because of the youngster, luke littler, we are going to see him in action this evening. after the first appearance from him this season all the emotions came out of the end. you just wonder if he's feeling his way into this tournament and whether we might see a little bit of more composed luke later tonight. i've made this point many times over the course of the last 10—11 days. all eyes are on him now. he's the favourite with pretty much every bookmaker, he is the poster boy, his face is literally everywhere, from programmes to the beer cups, everything. his life has changed, darts has changed and it's a different feeling. he did really well to keep a lid on all of that for his second round match as it was, where hejust seemed to block all of that out, being on the red carpet for sports personality of the year and i think the emotion did get to him

are in this league, they are able to win almost every game as well. now to one of the bbc sports personality of the year unsung hero award winners. in 2008 adam kenyon set up an archery club in sittingbourne with the aim of giving young people something to be proud of and improve their confidence. now, there are more than 80 members of all ages, including both able—bodied and disabled athletes selected for team gb. james dunn went to meet him. when we started up, it was an archery club. the more we got into it, the more developed. it became about the growth of the individual shooting as we've gone over the years, they've changed in their ability to deal with communication, authority, dealing with adults has changed, so the club has grown because we now work

the whole person not just the sport. archery has offered opportunity to many of the members here. i've been to switzerland, luxembourg, croatia, more competitions in canada and bulgaria next year hopefully. team gb aiming for the olympics in 2032. he's taught him much more than how to shoot. when i very first started, i had very low self—esteem, embraces all of that. it makes a welcoming environment for us to come and shoot. sh was a student here but she thought archery was out of reach for her. she almost went to the paralympics. i grew up in quite a sporty family, but never quite found a sport that i could fully participate in and enjoy. i don't have a hand, so this was a cast of my arm and it was designed and made on a 3d printer for me. adam, bless him, gave up his christmas holidays when you're to come up with this design and i thank

adam every day that i shoot because it really has changed my life. he is always here, come rain or shine, his commitment. is tangible, and what's also i clear is the effect and impact that he has on other people. i've seen that over- quite a number of years. just to be nominated was what mattered. and the nomination in itself for me made me feel worth a million. i would do it again and i will do it every day, and we will make a difference. whether it's elite archers or those picking up a bow for the first time, adam �*s teaching everyone here to aim high. so well deserved, congratulations to adam. and finally, world chess number one magnus carlsen has quit
