it's now got about 200 flats inside and as we understand it, the waterjust came in to this ground floor here. you can't really see through the windows because of the condensation, because of all that water. but you might be able to make out there the line that's going across the windows. we think that's where the water came to. i have been in and had a little peer in through the window, and that would have been a lobby area. and you can see bits of furniture have just been knocked over by the amount of water here. and the flooding here at this building was one of six major incidents that happened yesterday that led to greater manchester police declaring it a major incident. this morning, you'll see the floodwater has receded and it's very much about the cleanup now. there's a pickup van here coming in. they're coming in now to recover some of the vehicles. the cars in this car park were almost totally covered by water yesterday. lots of them have been damaged. people are coming down today trying to look at what can be done. we've seen people trying to clear their cars out of all of this thick,
