welcome to news domain. breaking news from los angeles where a wildfire has taken hold near los angeles and is burning out of control. huge smoke plumes can be seen rising above the pacific palisades area. aircraft and fire engines have been trying to stop the fire's spread. early in the space of just 20 minutes the flames grew tenfold. now more than 1200 acres are on fire. wind gusts of more than 120 kilometres per hour have been whipping through the area with local fire service official saying fire conditions are as bad as they get. around 30,000 people have been evacuated and many people stuck in traffic on the highways were told to abandon their cars and run. the la fire department chief gave this update.
