of independence and free love. 0h, beautiful. rainbow! that's a good omen, isn't it? yeah! oh, wow. the van has undergone a few nips and tucks uh—oh. we're going to have to pull over. yeah, we're up on 105 degrees or something. yeah. woo! what do you think, steve? i think the cooling fan is not working.
1:35 pm
aha. this might have happened once or twice in the past. 0k. i mean, the gauge was creeping up, wasn't it, rob? it was. we were seeing the gauge up around the red zone. yeah. luckily for us, steve's got an instinctive feel for cecil*s peculiarities. he's the kind that was typically seen on family campsites in the *70s and *80s. spent a year touring around aus. and just down the hill from the auction house was the docks, and i was looking
1:36 pm
at these containers and ships cooking oil and has put him to work for his charity, which was set up to keep cornwall*s beaches free of plastic waste. oh, dear, cecil. this is hamburger hill, officially the worst hill. cecil*s worst hill. it's called hamburger hill because there's a mcdonald's at the bottom of it. so we'll get a run—up. all right, down we go. 0h, is that smoky? that smells more like oil than... we have worked it hard. maybe there's. .. cautiously saying... yeah, go on. ..we don't have a problem.
1:37 pm
there's no problem ? hmm. as we're standing here, like, completely covered in sweat! nothing's wrong, honest! a bit of excess oil and heat. i'll buy it. oh, dear. that doesn't sound good. 0h, bleep. no, that's really not good. so what's not happening there? back to the back of the car. this time, the ignition won't start. doesn't sound like it's got any compression. we haven't got any water. which would indicate a head gasket. bleep. yeah.

created the stella vita and tested it out by driving all the way to the southernmost point of spain. yep, yeah. so the solar panels charge the battery. yeah. we can still drive, but, when we park it, well, then it can charge while we are having lunch or doing other things. on a sunny day in the netherlands, it's around 750km. yep. the garage is not the biggest place. i don't mind it, guys. i don't mind it.
1:41 pm
and then we'll drive off. timur, let's drive into the future! yeah. woo! so what is it like to drive? it accelerates quickly. 0k. yeah, it's a bit... into account when you are... ..when you're coming ina corner. but how fast can stella vita go? you can just go 120. really? 120km an hour? exactly. the speed limit, yeah. except for now because i do not have any power. aha. emergency lights on. 0k. very good. so we've had a minor malfunction. we've lost power. the boys on the case. have you tried turning it off
1:42 pm
and back on again? turning it on and off, yeah. even for this type of vehicle, that's still the case, yeah. it's making good noises. it's good noises. we have power again. we've got power! well done, mate. yes, exactly. 0k, we're moving on to the grass now. oh, god. that's our parking space. i reckon that is the outside. but there is no zipper here. it assembled. 0h! that's it. hey, presto. idon*t mind...
1:43 pm
it's almost that much more rewarding because of it. timur, is that a toilet under there? what? how does that work? 0k. we'll put this one off as well. yeah. that's so good. yeah. like, a self—sustaining house on wheels, really. a house on wheels where you have the shower, the toilet, your cooking supplies. everything is with you. for people about camper vans?
