denied the charges that the court put against it and said that they are anti—semitic. one other way in which it could impact the court is making its work more difficult. we have heard from former employees who say that these sanctions might alter their ability to do their job but it is difficult to know exactly how that will play out. and donald trump shop the world with his comments, plans to with his comments, has plans to take over the gaza strip, but that has been welcomed by hardliners in israel, where some of them have started to act on those plans. we some of them have started to act on those plans.— act on those plans. we heard yesterday — act on those plans. we heard yesterday from _ act on those plans. we heard yesterday from the _ act on those plans. we heard yesterday from the defence i yesterday from the defence minister here, who said that the idf, israel defense force should start to put in place plans to enable the voluntary removal of gazans from the gaza strip. they have gone slightly less far than the president of the us, who said that this was something that is force, which

would be a crime under international law, but what they are talking about is giving gazans the option to move. a statement from the defence minister spoke about this as a right that all people should have. critics of the government here will say, it is rather interesting timing that the people of gaza, who have been denied that right to remove it for so long should be given it, at this point, but that certainly seems to be the line that the defence minister is taking. joe inwood in jerusalem, thank you. president trump has doubled down on his plan for a us "takeover* of gaza — despite continued criticism from world leaders. the plan still seems far from concrete, with little detailfrom trump's team on how this could actually play out, though he did firm up that us troops will not be "on the ground" in gaza. our north america correspondent

three former harrods employees have accused mohamed al fayed s only surviving brother of sexually assaulting them whilst they were working for the department store. the women, who are speaking for the first time to the bbc, say ali fayed, who co—owned harrods with his brothers, sexually assaulted them in the 1990s. mr fayed, who now lives in the us, denies all the incidents simply never occurred . the latest allegations come in the wake of a bbc documentary which exposed abuse by mohamed al fayed, who died in 2023. you may find some of the details in this report distressing. daniel di simone has more.

all three women who say they were abused by ali fayed also say they were sexually abused say they were sexually abused first by mohamed al fayed. they are taking civil legal action against harrods. first by mohamed al fayed. amy was in her early 20s when she says mohamed al fayed ordered her on a trip ordered her on a trip to switzerland to switzerland with his brother ali, with his brother ali, to help with paperwork. to help with paperwork. once we got to the chalet, once we got to the chalet, it was myself and ali. it was myself and ali. no efforts were made no efforts were made to even create something for me to do. she says ali suggested they go for a swim at a local sports centre, but the pool was deserted. but the pool was deserted. he pulled me in and groped, fondled and trapped. very much trapped. i was terrified to think, how am i going to get out of this? another woman told us mohamed al fayed ordered her to this london building, where the brothers owned apartments, to meet ali fayed.
7:10 am
it was here, she says, ali fayed sexually assaulted her. she says she felt "shared" between the brothers. a spokesperson for ali fayed says he unequivocally denies all allegations of wrongdoing and that the alleged incidents simply never occurred. they also said mr fayed "will not be scapegoated". both mohamed al fayed and his other brother salah, who have both died, have been accused of multiple sexual offences. neither faced charges while they were alive. i think, for ali fayed, justice should be a criminal investigation. i also realised that this is my chance to finally stand up for myself. i'm not going to be that scared 24—year—old girl who doesn't know what to do.
