from their miners�* earnings a bbc investigation found 27 miners�* social welfare in england were sold for £12.2 million the money it makes is used to support former mining communities across the uk. stephanie miskin reports. the men that raised the money for this worked underground to buy this land. paid for by miners themselves. but a bbc investigation has discovered that many have the money has been spent on.
