but further east, as you can see, a better chance that the cloud will break up and that we will see some spells of sunshine. that said, north—west scotland has done quite well for sunshine already this week, and i think that is set to continue. temperatures — five, six, seven degrees. now, during friday night, this band of cloud and patchy rain pushes northwards and eastwards. we may see some snow developing, especially over high ground in northern england and up into scotland.
