for eastern scotland, where we could see highs of 11 or even 12 c. now as we head through tonight, this weather front pushing southwards is going to introduce spells of rain across scotland. but as the front bumps into the area of high pressure further south then it weakens. there will be some milder air across the north. you can see the stark contrast in temperatures between the north and the south, where there is still a frost as we head into monday morning. the winds remain light underneath this area of high pressure. these weather fronts gradually fizzling away. so by the time we get to monday morning, just a few spots of drizzle really within the stripe of cloud across northern england, north wales and across northern ireland as well. there will be some sunny spells developing further north, still windy for the far north and the west again. best of the sunshine, probably for the southern half of england into south wales too. and you can see temperatures start to rise in that milderfeeling air. as we head through the rest

of the week, we start to draw in more of a southerly wind, so the temperatures are set to climb again. further spells of rain from these weather fronts out towards the far north and west, but generally the high pressure will hang on, although it could turn more showery by the time we get to the end of the week. but a lot more sunshine in store. here's the outlook for our capital cities. those temperatures starting to rise to above the seasonal average. you can keep an eye on the forecast for your local area, of course, on the bbc weather app, it's also got the sunrise and the sunset times. bye for now.
