>> absolutely. 2015 has been a busy year for trend micro and the industry in general. what we are seeing is that companies are increasingly facing what i call digital disruption. free data, free tools, and almost free market that are out there like apple and google, companies are facing 10 times the competition, providing products and services at 1/10 of the cost, and that is causing a .ot of grief for legacy leaders because of this disruption, there are two technologies which are causing this major digital disruption. one is cloud computing, and on the other side is i.t. consumerization. those are the things that are

leverage the fear and psychology with the data they have been able to get hold of and try to extort money from organizations as well as users. yvonne: some of these companies or the target of cyber attacks. that it tookitted them six weeks to find out they were under attack. it's not that we will just see more of these attacks, they will be much more complex. >> absolutely. we used to be in an environment where companies will come up with a single signature, and that will protect thousands of organizations. we are entering the stage where cyber criminals are designing the attacks for a specific organization, so they are becoming highly targeted. what is even more alarming is having the attack happened and having to deal with it, that is challenging in itself, but on average, it takes about 242 days

before an attack is found in an organization, and that is really a concern. if you find it, you can somehow deal with it. yvonne: i have a question. these big companies, do they have the proper security in place for these attacks that we will see next year? is the proper infrastructure there? >> some companies are deftly better prepared than others. the companies that are not thatred, the challenge is you asked them about cyber security and they treated as a technical problem, whereas we all know that these attacks are all about people, processes, and systems. it is a business problem. ceo and you ask in your company who is the person responsible for security, and if the answer is the cio, then you , becausea problem security is everyone's business,

power. yvonne: he has been through a lot this year. what do we see for him in 2016? what areg question is the chinese leaders going to do about growth. -- they haveing telegraphed a desire to transition to slower growth, what they call the new normal. at the same time, president xi jinping and the premier has said they both anticipate a minimum growth level of 6.5%. stillou talk about growth being that high, that would indicate that the leadership is not prepared to step off the gas. they will still rely on stimulus to prop up the economy, so it does raise questions about their commitment to wean themselves off debt and move to more what they call stable and higher-quality growth. credit how much of the blame should we ascribe to president xi jinping himself?

>> that is a very good question. since coming to power, president xi jinping has amassed so much authority for himself, installing himself as the person in charge of various very important, and his party groups theseeing the economy, also military and the things, so it is very hard to get a real read on what is going on, the internal workings of the party. we do have suggestions that president xi jinping has firmly put himself in charge. when that happens, the perception is that he is the one to take the credit and also to take the blame if things go south. yvonne: all right. thank you so much for that wrap up. report card for president xi jinping. on someeck in other news. toshiba, a week for

obviously that reflects the fact that foreign investors are still smarting a little bit over the losses they incurred over the course of the summer. not very keen, the risk appetite is not where it was at the start of the year or ipos. that has affected the pricing , but also theanks big offering we had this quarter was china energy engineering, raising 1.8 billion u.s. dollars give or take, and their price was also at the bottom. yvonne: volumes are at a five-year high with the hong kong market. what is up with that? >> this will allow us to come back to the bank, a lot of these offerings were supported by cornerstone investors. we wrote some stories talking about how the portion that had been sold to strategic investors is the highest on record, at least according to the data we

compiled. 63.5% of that offering was supported by cornerstone. you would think that is a good thing. but if you look at the makeup of e werernerstone, ther quite a few names the market did not recognize good the sure seem to go to companies that were based in other provinces. it is not as if there was a great take vote of confidence that this offering was attracting international and cornerstone and so forth. just can't compete with these big rival banks. there's a lot of concern still on his bad debt levels. we will continue to check out the price. thank you very much. coming up next, the space race in asia after the break. why moon missions might be a top
