me @jim cramer here's the question, how many games of domino can you play at once if you're a stostock broker youn play three at once the nasdaq declined .08% and that was a lot today's dominos, we got three of them apple specifically issues with the apple watch but also some concerns that the foe may not be that -- phone may not be that strong general mills. and one more miserable quarter from bed, bath and beyond. let's start with the most visual, the decline in apple there was another approximate cause that hung around all day apple today revealed a glitch in the new model which may have a barely noticeable problem making
6:02 pm
and taking calls in some very isolat isolat isolate incidents. because the vast major of the press critics didn't stumble up on one always telling you to own the stock of apple, don't trade it if you use the new apple watch in a place with an open wifi network that you visit before, hotel, starbucks for example, you could have some connection issues that seems like a small issue and apple's working on a plan to fix it since we all hold this company to a high esteem may cause problems in sales. i doubt you'll notice any watch in weakness if there is any when the company reports. i feel strongly about the stock now as i did when back in july
6:03 pm
of 2010, i came on air and urged people to buy apple stock after taking a five-point hit because of a glitch with the iphone force antenna. you can't see that swoon from $37 to $32 on the chart because apple's now 156. suffice to say, people want to take profits, i guess this is a good enough excuse as in, especially when you factor in rumors about weak presales for a new phone from some firm i've never heard of apple's got a ton of suppliers, if apple stock patches a cold these guys get pneumonia sky work solutions, kor zero, texas instruments and broadcome all fall down, does this make
6:04 pm
sense? for example the stock of broad come for apple and -- i thought the sale offend brought -- so everyone folds would broadcombe apardon of the glitch or next, who knows. working with apple is like the fight club first rule of fight club is you don't talk about the fight club. my take if you don't own any of these stocks -- i make take it as a weakness. you're certainly getting a fabulous price break versus where they were a few weeks ago and these stocks all get cheaper as they go down. some of you may argue, hey, it's not just the apple you had a disappointing adobe report hanging over the market too. adobe blew away the numbers on
6:05 pm
the top and bottom line and gave you an official forecast adobe saw up front and honest that i don't think think they had to talk about the issue. a vast majority of wall street analysts actually race the price target so, again people looking for excuse to -- the register just like with apple. the second domino define today's action, the business mal figures out of general mills this morning. not only did the food company tell you cereal sells drop and u.s. yogurt sales fell double digits, der over 9%. so what falls, the pantry stocks, kellogg, craft times, campbell soup, jm smuker,
6:06 pm
heresy usual suspects the companies are all struggling with head wins as they've been squeezed by customers. they aren't loved by millennials, in many cases the raw costs are going up while the sales and flat lining are going down however the pack and food stock gets the domino because they're good at falling. finally the last stock, bed bath and beyond chose -- that was beyond repair. i kind of feel bad for them, i wouldn't know what to do in their shoes. but then again i'm not running the company. so we gived dominos flying here to macy's, kole's and -- and cutting out a major source of the profits for the drugstore
6:07 pm
space. there was a time when i wouldn't get a rumor like this shake me out of an investment when you see what happens when amazon comes into an industry, or even when we just hear about it coming into an industry, wholesale destruction, companies like home depot and lowe's obliterated when they teamed up against amazon it's hard to -- when amazon dipped it so into their backyard you want to take a chance on drugstores with some news coming out of amazon. sometimes the whole chain of dominos get a push from more than just the industries fundamentals we talked about selling bonds and raising rates if the future, the whole thing was expected no matter, the home market got hit if the feds 2:00 statement came out
6:08 pm
although the backs rally to bid on the news as though anticipated rate heights that are going to help their numbers and financials led the numbers right back into a block for another record breaker when this gets bad news after the remarkable run you have to break out the dominos to explain the secretary decline. i wish i could tell you the game's now done for these sectors and the damage's contained. if you yono tech stocks take a stab at one of your favorites but take a pass on the foods and the retailers because those dominos actually deserve to fall carlos in florida. >> caller: what's popping jim? >> caller: nothing much what's with you >> caller: not much.

6:10 pm
do you think there may be potential buy out in the future? >> there's art calls that came out that the company's unhappy with we look at the articles and fine out whether they're the good ones second we invite the company on and explain to say why the articles are negative and wrong. that's the best way to approach it i i'm telling mdxg, my medics they should come on the show how about dennis in michigan >> caller: hi jim, i have cities throughout the united states and also -- your thoughts on mg? >> i like both i think -- the mgm growth properties is a terrific real estate growth process. i didn't know it had fallen back to 5%. i don't think you're going wrong

what do we do with the stock of nvidia now that this very evening is struggling. devices is reported to be working with tesla on autonomous driving chip it may be competing or replacing nvidia it just came to 16 point last week before coming to this amd news of after hours. it's a semiconductor stock of the future and i named my dog nvidia. the stock nvidia down after hours. the stock actually deserves to get punished perhaps this is just one more buying opportunity, though when you have something you're
6:16 pm
not sure about, i think it's important to consider many perspectives here, even if we own it from my travel trust, nvidia's the hottest stock around and as i've been saying, many people own nvidia stock simply because it's been going up if anything goes wrong, even a little bit like this tesla, your fellow shareholders can turn on you in a heart beat. you have to know what you're doing and what could happen to the stock. we need more insight here, which is why we're going off the charts with the help of cowen bro den. happens to be one of my colleagues at real money.com to get a better since of where nvidia might be headed five weeks ago i asked her to take to look at some stocks including nvidia and she nailed it at the time the stock was trading at 166 and was at the prime of rebounding from trade
6:17 pm
offs the sell off would be reraced rapidly, and the rally could be far from over. she pointed out the stock's recent low was made on top of a key cluster support levels running from 151 to 152. she also argued the timing was right for the stock to resume it's high. the chief could see the stock of nvidia trading to 180 or even 188 until it will hit a real ceiling of resistance. the stock hit 180 last friday and it briefly break out above the 188 price they was using earlier this week. in short, she couldn't have been more right, which is why with this amd news we got to go back to work. given nvidia's already hit bro den's price target, what do she think you should do it with now?

broeden using ratios, that's the numbers discovered by the god father of mathematics. they pop up over and over again in nature, seashell, pine cones. for some reason she has told us time and again, it's been demonstrated they pop up in the stock market she measures past swings in the stock, and run the swings through ratios and find sport and resistance levels. find it before it happens. it's not just price by the way, y access to the chart, broeden looks at time on the x axis and run it through ratio to fine important dates that it's a higher probability the stock is beginning to change source last month, her method dog determines it have time to buy

nvidia she can help you figure out when we might be approaching a better moment to sell or buy. how does this imply to nvidia? bro den thinks the stock can still have upside. she's still using a 209 target she used the method dog to predirpr predict where we -- a highly emotionally charged need take a look at the daily chart of the xle, this is a stock that is an energy etf because everyone was bailing on the oil stocks, the x is a mirror image, the xle was trending bearish going into late august using this chart, broeden was able to anticipate where the xl eric was likely to bottom. three factor, many market moves tends to ex terminate extensions
6:20 pm
in entire swings for the xle, broeden noticed it hit a 170.2% of the bottom move. she also did the duration declines, the time it took for the declines to play out the declines lasted from 16 to 20 trading days. sure enough, when the etf only bottomed it came just 16 days after its previous high. third, she also noticed some price semi century in previous down moves there were previous declined that lasted when the xle bottomed and come down $5.33 from its previous high it fit the pattern when all these key parameters were tested on august 21, the stock bottomed broeden conbe 100% sure the

stock would change at that level but chef able to inspect the possibility by observing and analyzing the etf's pass behavior she wants to make sure the same thing happening with nvidia. we see how it works and applied the bottom, now we're apply all the stocks to nvidia unfortunately broedensays she' observed similarities to the reversal she caught. first nvidia's already made a 127.2. the dechange terminated this level even though it was temporary. brody says rallies tends to terminate extensions that means a pull back in nvidia has become more likely second, there's the issue of time in the recent past nvidia's longest rallies have lasted for
6:22 pm
25 or 29 trading days before this stock got hit with a typical correction this recent rally lasted for 25 trading days going into the high on monday. the pull back may have already started concerning the negative action in nvidia stocks tonight. this rally may finally have run out of room and time third, look at some of the larger rallies over the past year, brody's notice the stock has continued to run out of steam after its climb from 35 to 42 points. nvidia was followed by a directive decline and that decline's worth anywhere from $10 to $30 before this rally resumes again. from the august 11 flow to the high on monday, nvidia gained $38.29 that's right in the spot of where these rallies tend to terminate. we got to take this seriously. in short, broeden thinks this
6:23 pm
might be a smart moment to take profits in nvidia. if the stock continues to behave liej it's aunt all year then it could be due to a meaningful decline. if you don't own nvidia broeden's right you could be getting an excellent buying opportunity. it mine best to circle back to this one next week after a lower level. we have these declines, this could be one of them here's the bottom loan, i like nvidia but i love protecting your investments more. i actually want to get bigger not smaller in the stock to nvidia when it comes down more than it has. the charts interpreted by pamela -- if your nimble maybe you want to try to sidestep that

decline. more importantly if nvidia is poll va rised like that maybe you'll get a chance to earn a -- even as this potential loss in the tesla business to amd could certainly be one of them much more "mad money" ahead including my take on fedex earnings i'll give you my take. the equifax hack has many consumers on edge with 143 million people potentially impacted and account sharing economy take advantage of the human pet trend? stake with cramer.
6:26 pm
6:27 pm
when a high-quality stock gives you a moment they're pull back there are times whether you need to grab that opportunity by the horns to survivor. that's what people did last night and this morning when the stock of fedex was down more than 3 bucks and widely seen as a disappointing quarter. it was a perfect moment to buy stocks in fedex finished up by 4 bucks today. you had to listen to the conference call, as i always recommend and not just read the negative headlines in order to profit from and not panic the opportunity. fedex is generally regarding global trade i put it on a tray with boeing and caterpillar. why is that, well it's all about the hack
6:28 pm
the nexus european division was hacked it cost the company a lot of money in this quarter. it was a massive intrusion that involved state sponsor terrorism. i might say equifax, fedex went above and beyond to solve the problem. i think it scared people that maybe the earnings were impaired or businesses might have lost for good because of the breach i think the hack managed to obscure a lot of -- made with fedex. it's kept people from recognizing how amazing the deal is and it's kept them out of the stock every since the hacker struck back on june 27 the hack finally seemed to be behind and now that investors can focus on the future the stock manage to worth back with a vengeance today. what drove these buyers.
6:29 pm
simple fedex made it clear that if it weren't for the hacks they could have reiterated their guidance, letting us know nothing was loss because of the the data breach they're expanding the way people can drop off packages including a hook up with 8,000 walgreens they can use as fedex retail depots most important, fedex before the from a robust global economy where e commerce from brick and mortar retailers are growing like a weed. a fellow by the name of rod chest, told us, and i quote, we are seeing the best year for global trade in years. later on in the call he one on
6:30 pm
to say, this is the fastest freight growth i've seen since 2011 the trade growth is 1.4 times gdp for the rest of this calendar year and it's typically for the last few years what's driving it, it's a quote, the manufacturer actually in the technology sector is a colloqke for the year, end quote. having a major impact on worldwide growth which has put e commerce on steroids in other words, he's saying the middle classification of the entire globe is making e-commerce strong. anything that's good for e commerce and good for fedex. regardless of the hack this company's doing incredibly well.
6:31 pm
that's why i think if you can earn say $15 less calendar year, and i think that's a possibility, you could see the stock rally 50 points from these levels even after fedex has run today in that amazing reversal i think it's got a lot more up side. elliot in new york >> caller: hey jim i want to say it's an horn >> thank you >> caller: i love to shout out to my friend allen whose been holding on to qbq trading in the low 40 i have a two part question semantics and would be a good pick in the security field -- >> i don't like etf's i like to pick the best. is semantic the best it's doing very well and i'm not against owning you know the power of e commerce especially on steroids.
