i get it sure the average didn't do too badly. s&p declined nasdaq inched up .07%. i know there's a lot to worry about. we add the u.s. trade representative saying less than encouraging things today we had cohen testifying about the president while trump himself is chatting up with kim jong un what could go wrong? i know we are giving the writers way too much it confuses me it is sending off enough to power 500 teslas there is a lot that might keep
6:02 pm
you up ate night about stock market you know what i'll do? i'll flip that right on its head i think we need to start asking people on wall street the masters of the universe what lets them sleep soundly at night. what lets them drift off despite all of the crazy stuff that's going on in the world. let me tell you the top six which i thinks it is a lot tighter. stock market number one we have the strongest economy on earth honestly, how can you be petrified when we have very little inflation
6:03 pm
i can't wait to see it they backed away from the economy in order to save it at the beginning of the year. that brings us to reason number two. after making a rookie mistake he course corrected you'll have to wonder if he will be in the all-star game. we get the economy not too hot, not too cold, just right he triple doubled congress he is fun to watch okay he is not. i flipped out in the fourth quarter because you never want to fight the fed now they have switched teams that guy lets me sleep like a baby third thing, i'm loving some of these turn around orders who are breathing new life it comes back to general electric i think he is doing an amazing job. by the way, that's what the pros
6:04 pm
do he is taking the balance sheet fears off the table. i like that. there is the hard charging new ceo of lowe's. it had become a market share donor where professional contractors eager to go armed. he is making a contender i love that he is busting up while making sewer they have better more focused associates that want to help and a goal of no more out of stocks. thank you marvin i think they are worth buying here and i'm in awe of the way they have reinvented the companies on the fly without missing a beat how about the fourth reason? dividends. we are seeing out of control dividends and it's not getting enough attention
6:05 pm
at a time when we are scrambling for every dime they are putting money in your pocket i love getting paid to do nothing. the retailers. we are seeing incredible moves in this mostly from companies written off and left for dead as amazon road kill wasn't best buy supposed to be a showroom wasn't etsy about to be steam rolled no turns out these companies are doing just fine, better than fine everybody needs to call amazon the death star retail. that no longer seems to be the dais amazon is doing fabulously too there is enough for everybody.
6:06 pm
finally, reason number six why this lets me sleep so well at night, simple. nobody seems like it anymore there is a spectacular amount of fear people are so scared that's wrong don't they realize we already had a mini-crash that is what december was for the fear is so thick you would cut it like a finely aged ecclesiastes i'm n cheese. the sky only fell in the fourth quarter. it's fine. so many are worried about the trade war with chien fla it is a pitiful giant. you know what? i'm taking the other side of this i'm actually sitting here worried china's economy might fall apart maybe it would lose from power
6:07 pm
like it did after. in this case it is a potential weakness in the face of a rapidly slowing economy. i know many of you probably think i'm moving past the graveyard here i'm only wlis ling past those that can't sleep at night. they have been scared away by those that pray like a constant loop inside their heads. instead of constantly fretting you need to think about what's going right. you'll sleep a lot more soundly and will perform a lot better too. frank in new york, frank >> great big booyah from stat

6:09 pm
all right. i know, i'm with some but the graveyard start thinking about what's going right and we'll do a lot there. up over 10% today. i'm talking to ceo i'm telling you why it is away from his letter today. a world away and it's a stock that's more than doubled over the past 12 months i'm talking about seeing what's ahead for the cyber security stay with cramer

reported last night it delivered fantastic results. causing it to skyrocket nearly 14%. this is only just beginning. apparently it increased from december to january. could it have much more upside let's take a look at ceo hear more about the success. welcome back to mad money. >> thank you, jim. thank you for having me back on the show >> absolutely. >> when this was passed i thought wall street knew how urgent your drug was needed and they would take numbers up and reck cog fliez th recognize this is a very special drug were you surprised given the fact you have come on and said there's a huge one here. >> well, first it is early days of course. we were or not reporting the first two months of sales. there is a note of caution to be had. there is an a cute need for new treatments and a cbd based

auction has been widely talked about. we are tledelighted to believe can help a number of patients across this country with those that have been difficult to treat with our drugs >> i wanted to ask you, i think there's a lot of people that say why is cramer like this? we know cbd, you can get it now. it is available. we are talking about how none of those things can be written. >> we produce medicines that have evidence of safety and whether plan fact cluring process can be relied upon in terms of the competition of the product. these are important factors when it comes to medication choices for patients who have very difficult conditions it is a very different environment from over the

moment we have everyday in these forms of epilepsy. we continue to evaluate the safety of this medication and other forms of opepilepsy we are not there yet there are clearly opportunities for us to increase the potential utilization of this drug through further research there is the research that will term which this should ultimately be used >> how do i get the word out there is a tremendous lack of knowledge among the medical community about how epilepsy should be treated. they are treating it with these old drugs from the 50s and 60s how do you get the word out? >> i think that's one of the reasons that this drug is so
6:18 pm
exciting it's the first time we have had a first in dallas open accept si field. ultimately of course the real determinant of success is the impact on the patient population what has been so heartening that we have already heard from physicians across the country about how this medication may have helped thinkeir conditions >> an old friend of mine and new york times reporter, he is writing tell your clish the truth and violence are you hearing anything about that he has been on a lot of talk shows. it seems to me what you're doing far outweighs that kind of worry. it is in my head maybe we should be more careful.
6:19 pm
that is important for us to emphasize. our job has been to ensure we have a clear distinction between this and marijuana and in that respect i think we have aclooefed a great deal of understanding and for those that do understand that they see this as an important new treatment edition. they don't confuse its with the wider controversies of marijuana. is there a possible use to use it because there really is nothing. right now we have flog we just havecounseling

6:23 pm
you cannot undere estimate. those choices have major consequences for their stocks. don't believe me i want you to go read. general electric ceo annual letter came out last night hopefully his first of many. it is honest it is straightforward. in short it's the most un-ge piece of correspondence i have ever seen. you want to understand it was the most complex where you could never figure out how to do it. the numbers were borderline incomprehensible i had to search for a glossary it explained how many divisions were holding up. there were all of these after tax and before tax terms they used in a bizarre form of earnings you couldn't really compare it to other businesses on an apples
6:24 pm
to apples basis. none of this bothered investors but it looks like the company was winning. i could noeever figure out how they got away with it. it is forcing the company to cut numbers for what turned out to be a 60% love every year we might be confused about that. i was stunned by the simplicity of new ceo reporting techniques. instead of page after page after page of adjusted numbers that showed big wins there's one page that shows how all of the
6:25 pm
divisions are doing. get this it turns out ge has eight divisions. there is a 16 word max description of each one followed by the titled subdivisions then the number of the employees in each division you can tell from the get go that they are insanely overstaffed. this was incredible. r revenues, profit loss, margin profit less and backlog all presented with year over year comparisons. i'm not kidding. actual numbers it wouldn't have surprised me if he worked every day to get his hands on these numbers that's how absurd it was
6:26 pm
it does kind of feel like a new company will be amazingly good you'll finally know what you're getting. you'll get a fabulous aviation division, a very good health care division and it's fine what they sold. they have tons of good stuff it needs to be sold to where it no longer matters. the best part of all things, there's a quote from this. they woet saying the beginning of wisdom is to call things from their proper name. that's the new ge. a company that's finally embracing reality. he closes the letter by telling us now it's more about what we do than what we say. that too is a very un-ge-like sentiment. after reading this incredible letter i think he can pull it
