we are always in the hunt of seasonal patterns. i have got another one for you, thanksgiving trade this is trade forward. every year retail stocks tend to go higher for thanksgiving through christmas. it is what you expect given prime shopping season. tonight we are going off the charts larry williams who's been trading stocks since i was a child. he written more than a dozen books. more importantly williams is the master of spotting cycles that repeats themselves remember the 4th of july trade he told us every year if you buy the s&p 500 a few days before the 4th of july and sell it in the opening a few days later, you will make money. so when williams tells us thanksgiving to christmas is the ideal time to have some retailers, you better believe it i am not going to tell you to

buy etf and move on. why would you want to buy the worse retailers when you can go to the best ones so we got a little selective today and you have to be this year, come on. we know the pandemic is throwing the entire retail world into chaos. more operators are having a tougher time we may be headed for the first black friday where malls are not packed with consumers. when you think of how our country responded to the virus, ma maybe we'll have the same black friday as always but with a higher death toll. of course the rise online shopping was a powerful one. that may send into anover drive. take a look at this chart of

6:30 pm
walmart kept climbing higher normally walmart is not a go-to play holidays. i am betting this year could be different. the stock rallies when the season is bad. it keeps rallying when the season is just okay. we'll sub target for that larry has been so right. apple is more about the booming service revenue theme. remember the smaller developers under a million are getting a break in the app store that's cut in half.
6:31 pm
most consumers are flushed so many things we spend money on have been shutdown if you are not going on vacation or seeing ball games, your savings do add up. that leaves you a lot of extra cash that you can only spend on stuff and apple makes some of tl best stuff on the universe apple's seasonal pattern is pretty much flatten the next few months but between the watch and the iphone 12, i am going the get apple is a huge holiday season apple is a great long-term story. so there is no need to get cute here just own it and don't trade it as always. biden is a team player, team with the rest of our allies and does not want to go alone. i think the chinese will respect that like it or not >> how about home depot? when millions of people are
