taylor swift things tina fey and amy polller are sexist.

>> you know what you stay away from michael j. fox's son or go for it. you need some time to learn about herself. >> she responded swiftly. well of course the truth is swift has given many interviews describing her heart break and heart ache and many of her hit songs are about past relationships. still she told vanity fair that she heard a quote that she loved that there is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women. that quote is originally from secretary of state albright because women helping women

because of their gender isn't right either. anderson starts now. >> we are following dangerous winter weather. the kind of wind you see in hurricanes. also breaking news news. a woman is mauled to death by a lion she appeared to save. we begin though with crime and punishment. the jodi arias murder trial. what happened today in court is only permitted in two other states jurors actually asking questions of her. boy did they have questions for the woman who shot, stabbed and slashed her boyfriend to death
5:03 pm
and now says the attack was self defense not cold-blooded murder. >> reporter: more than 100 questions from the jury to jodi arias. they started with the singer about the digital camera. >> why did you put the camera in the washer? >> i don't have memory of that. i don't know why i would do that. >> again her memory fails her. preventing her from explaining why she put the camera in the washing machine after she killed him. the camera tacontained picturesf him this one two minutes before his death. and what about the gun, the state says she brought it with her to kill. but arias says it was his gun and that she grabbed it trom the

5:05 pm
arias didn't run for help the day of the killing. >> it is hard to describe the fear. i thought he had intensions to kill me. >> arias claims alexander physically and saexually abused her. the jury wanted to know if she documented abuse she testified about. theury had a lot of questions about the couple's sex life. jurors asked about specific events like when alexander tied her to his bed. she answers each and every one of those embarrassing questios s never taking her eyes off the jury. >> did you voice concerns to him about being uncomfortable?
5:06 pm
>> yes, there was a fantasy that he wanted to do about having sex on the hood of a car and i told him that would be impossible. >> why would you continue to stay with someone that had sex with you while you were sleeping. >> i was in love with him. i believed from a religious perspective that our relationship would not be blessed if we acted that way. >> 150 questions were asked. they had been listening carefully. there were questions about the three versions of her story that she has given over time about what happened that night. how did she explain that. >> the jury had asked why she didn't tell police from the start. >> she said that answer was
5:07 pm
complicated. she didn't want people to know what was going on and that he had been abusing her. and she didn't want to tell police about the moment she says she caught him masturbating to a photo of a young boy. but anderson, as you know now, because of those lies, that couple's sex life, their dirty text messages, that has been on full display here in court and in the media for weeks. >> i was curious to see, how did the juryors react while they wee asking questions. sitting in the court room it felt like they were having a one-on-one conversation. even though the judge was the one that was asking the questions and they had been committed anonymously. it was strange.

some of the experts have said the more they have been on the stand the less likely they will give her the death penalty. appreciate it. joining me now. criminal defense attorney, nancy, what do you make of the questions that the jurors themselves were asking themselves today. anderson, i've got to tell you, that i was very concerned when i realized that the judge was not going to allow recross-examination after the defense had redirect but when i got aloud of the jury questions i could not have been happier. questions like why did you take time to delete photos off of your digital camera after you

murdered travis alexander. if your cell phone died why didn't you plug it into a wall charger? they latched onto every small fact and they are calling her on it. >> what about you? >> i don't and for the reason unintentionally that nancy me s mentions. structurally, this is supposed to be jurors who are sitting there as impartial finders of fact. that is exactly why i don't like it. >> they are asking truthful questions mark, you don't want to hear the answers. >> is that is not true. if time trying the case. >> -- >> if i'm trying the case, if i'm trying the case i love to

5:12 pm
with your parents. >> now that is a question if you were writing a short story of her life i don't know why it is admissible evidence. but it shows how jurors think. >> there were more questions about sex. >> anderson, please call on me. >> i'm calling on you. >> i hope you heard that. he called on me. let's get back to what you just said about the spiderman under wear. he wanted her to dress up like a little boy and have anal sex from behind to suggest that he was a pedophile. but if you took the pictures of you, how come you didn't take the pictures of the spidey underwear that you keep talking about? >> i think this is a tribute to
5:13 pm
the jury. one asked if you are nearsided how do you drive? >> she didn't wear glasses. she said i don't have trouble driving. i thought that was such a perceptive detail. i don't know how the defense can take much solice in that. i like that. >> the problem with it is that the jurors are i don't care what anybody says, if you have ftrie any number of jury trials, they pay attention. they act like a super computer. people mock the jury system. i think it is one of the greatest inventions ever. i'm not saying that they are asleep at the switch. there has never been a trial

5:15 pm
>> barbara asked i think they have lost sight of what the trial is about. didn't she kill travis a person who has lived through an abusive relationship. where is this any proof of that? i'm very sensitive to that question because while i was prosecuting i spent ten years volunteering at the battered women's center. and frankly when i believed it was a battered women's syndrome defense i would see the case in a whole different light. what if she is faking this
5:16 pm
defense that hurts all battered women. when they go to trial. they will go do you remember her? >> i hate to agree with nancy but she is right. i can hear them mocking defense lawyers on battered women because of this case. >> the violence that was done here are you wearing handcuffs as a necklace? >> yes, i am would you like a pair? >> i guess i'm near-cited or far-sighted and i saw something
