good morning, everybody. it's 7:00. glad you are with us this morning. we begin this morning with an update in the unsolved murders of two texas murders. this week when somebody called in a bomb threat during a memorial service for the district attorney and his wife, whoever made that threat has not been found, but police arrested this man, robert miller and charged him with making a terrorist threat online against the deputy district attorney, and another man faces charges, and he is accused of threatening a county official, and the police say the two are not tied to the killing. martin, how do these threats relate to the case? >> reporter: well, you know, good morning, miguel. they don't relate in a direct since and they don't believe these two men have anything to

do with the murders that have taken place down here. but it shows authorities are not taking crap when it comes to somebody making a threat to law enforcement or a public official down here because both have been charged with a serious offense, and that's one count of terroristic threat. and authorities are not going to put up with a threat or foolishness in this regard. the bomb threat was made during the visitation for one family, and it's unimaginable somebody could go to such depths of lowness. and nothing like this is going to be tolerated, and they will come down on you like a ton of bricks. >> makes sense. >> we are hearing more speculation about mckhreplen and

head of the prison chief, a pizza delivery man came to the door. nobody knows who that was. police arrested this man, james ebel. and lors is expected to be a friend of ebel, and ebel died later after being shot by the police. and then an atf official said that river view gun sales lost the firearms sales license 20 days after a newtown

massacre. adam lanza's mother bought a rival there. a hepatitis scare in a new york city after a restaurant worker tested positive for the disease. anybody that had dessert between march 23rd and april 2nd there at the restaurant should be tested. employees will be doing the same. >> in the front and back of the house will be getting a shot no later than monday. >> i am shocked. i love this place. great service and food and i recommend it to a lot of people. i am surprised. an ohio family was cold and wet but happy to be rescued after 24 miserable hours in the

if war breaks out. and jim clancy is watching what is unfolding. jim, what is the reaction in south korea to north korea? >> here in south korea people are used to this kind of high stakes rhetoric. it happens every year when the u.s. south korean have joint military practices here, and north korea does not like that much. and one of the only ways that we learn information like this is from people who visit, and there are tour groups that go in, and a lot of them are based in beijing and from there travelers can visit north korea, and it's pricey and you have to pay north koreans for the right to get in there, and one of the leaders talked with us earlier and told us what she saw, and we asked her, because everything out of

to wrestle things internally or it is a true threat externally? >> well, you know, kim jong un is a new leader. he has taken things further than his father or grandfather. threats of a nuclear strike against the u.s. main land. he does not have the capability to do that, but the fact that he would say that he is climbing way out on the limb and the question is can he back down? he can swing at us with all the fiery rhetoric, but we have yet to see if he is capele of backing down gracefully and letting things cool off, miguel. >> the u.s. has to back up south korea, and there are 29,000 u.s. troops here. what kind of response are we seeing out of washington to seoul? >> they are relying on deterrence. they know the joint military

pamela? >> reporter: it has been a week of fallout on the rutgers university campus. and the video shows mike rice abusing his players, and since then mike rice was fired the following day, and the assistant basketball coach resigned and then we learned that the athletic director, tim pernetti handed his resignation letter over to the president of the university. he said i always tried my best to do what is right and i spent a great deal of time reflecting on the events which led to today. as you know my first instincts when i saw the video was to fire him immediately, and the consensus was that university policy would not justify dismissal. the president of the university held a press conference and he

said he supports pernetti's decision to resign and called pernetti a standup guy. when asked about whether he would resign, he said that that decision is up to the board of governors. that's what we had to say. >> i consider resaoeuping every single day when i wake up, because let's be honest, i don't have a contract here. my contract says what i can do and it says that every day i serve at the discretion of the board. there is no term to my contract. >> reporter: he said when the video was first brought to the university officials he did not ask to see the video, and he said that is a decision he regrets and he saw it for the first time to tuesday, and he is facing growing pressure from the lbgt community, and some are

calling for his resignation. >> thank you for that, pamela. profootball may be reaching a landmark moments. one of the most outspoken advocate for gay rights, he says as many as four gay players are considering coming out publicly on the same day. he spoke to anderson cooper four days after he was cut. >> there are individuals i'm in contact with and we know of some gay players, and some of them are anonymous, and some we know who they are, but their identity is super secret, and some don't want to reveal who they are, because it's entirely up to them what they want to do. what we want to facilitate is getting them altogether and they can lean on each other and have a support group, and it's

at cvs, lipitor $150, and at costco, $15. and then we are talking to the consumer editor, lisa gill. why the discrepancy in price? >> we have been doing the secret shopper survey for a number of years and this was the most -- really the most surprising results we have ever seen. those price differences talk about two different things. stores use their pharmacies in different ways. stores like cvs, they are meant to generate a lot of revenue and profit for the stores and that's fine. you see it reflect in high prices. stores like costco, walmart, sam's club, they try to bring in

traffic through having lower prices in the hopes that people will buy other things. and the other difference is cvs and rite-aide, they are on every corner in the us practically, and with a store like costco, even though you pay much higher prices, you have to plan your visits, and pharmacies close at 8:00 at night and they are not open on sundays. so you can see the difference there. >> and the most expensive were cvs and rite aid, and target. a random price check of only

five drugs is too far to draw meaningful conclusions about with which pharmacies have the best value for its customer. do you agree the survey is an accurate representation across the board? >> we called independent mom and pop pharmacies and large, big box stores like sam's club and costco, and target, walmart, walgreen's, and we were posing as just a regular consumer, and sort of like what my grandmother might say, just calling around to local pharmacies trying to get a price on very popular medications, and actually that's why we chose those medications is because millions of people take these drugs every month and in many cases can't afford them. one of the things we were surprised to find out, and cvs has an interesting point, except when we called nearly a dozen cvs's around the country, they

quoted a price of $150, and one said you could have a discount if you come into the store. i think that it's very notable and worth considering when you are shopping for medications. >> what is the best tips for viewers out there buying meds? >> you are not going to believe it, but the truth is many of our -- all of our shoppers were not offered the lowest possible price, so the tip is you have to ask for the lowest price. you have to -- in person and on the television, you can say is this the best price you can offer me, and very often they will come back to you with discounts the store offers or other possible discounts or drugs alternatives. asking seems to be the key, and this is a surprising find in making so many calls around the united states. the second thing -- also, be
