going to zip it. >> i will begin with the heat. it's a big story scorching much of the country. sizzling temperatures making things miserable. 130 million people are affected by this, temperatures reaching into the mid and upper 90s. at least six people have died from this heat this summer. at least one of those were heat related. >> in california, a farm was shut down after high temperatures led to a worker's death. state officials say the owner didn't give farm hands a chance to get out of the sun or have enough water. one collapsed and died in 106 degree temperatures last week. >> in indiana, power went out in an apartment complex in

only above normal temperatures for an already hot time of year. summertime july heat combined with humidity about 70%. that's what it's feeling like in the afternoon. we are not seeing the relief. look at this. we are seeing the concern spread in connecticut. look at that. we could see thresholds of 105 degrees. the heat is going to feel like 105. you can see this is all can way from new england to d.c. and here is the problem. this dome of high pressure is building. farther than it did yesterday. in minnesota, we are looking at it in the dakotas. a huge part of the country dealing with the heat. new york seeing four days of this. philadelphia four days. d.c., three days of heat over 90 degrees. there will be a change, everyone is asking, when will we see the relief. it's a tricky bag. it takes the hot, humid air and
