is joining us from new york. >> thank you very much. have a great couple of days off. police now know how the gunman got to the mall and they do know the shooter's name. erin mcpike is outside the mall. one thing remains a mystery. what is the latest? >> well, we learned a little bit ago that the mall will reopen at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow. that is a day earlier than expekt expected this morning. >> when the mall does reopen, we will ensure that we have a strong police presence here.

the mall has a unique place in the county. it is not just an economic institution. it is a place of community. we understand that and we are working closely with the mall officials to allow them to reopen as quickly as we can. we learned more details this morning saying that the shooter purchased his shotgun last month in neighboring montgomery county and he came by taxi here at 10:15 and entered a double level entrance and also has two homemade explosive devices on him and police were able to disable them.

police also have said that they haven't been able to establish a relationship between the shooter and the victims so they don't have a motive. >> all right. thank you very much. yesterday was the sixth day in a row that the public place was the place of a murder. the week began with a student shot and wounded at university in a philadelphia area. a teacher's assistant was gunned down on friday. hours ago brain dead and pregmother was removed from machines keeping her alive and the victory came after an emotionally wrenching ordeal. texas hospital kept her body on life support to preserve the

fetus she was carrying. hospital chose not to appeal the judge's ruling. i want to bring in nick valencia. nick, how is the munuz family doing? >> we did get a stayedme statem the family's attorney. i want to read part of that. it starts by staying: as you know, it has been an almost 8.5 week period that the family has been arguing over having her come off the vent

later. the hospital has been saying that they have been following sate law. which requires a pregnant woman to receive life saving treatment. we herd fr we heard from the hospital. which said: >> now we are trying to get in contact with the family to get a statement and learn more about what is next for the family. we know that they are continuing on with the grieving process we don't know when. >> has the hospital or the family said who will actually end up paying for the care that she has received over the last couple of months? >> that is a question that is so

we can do that without making the comparison to nazi germany. it clouds the debate and i would say where i disagree is this is not a tactic that is in anyway just relegated to one party. a lot of people do it. and they get in the same trouble it is the wrong thing to do when you are trying to make the argument. part of the problem in our culture today is there is a focus on being quotable versus being credible. we compare a 1% economically to the plight of six million jews and gypsies and gays. >> let's talk about the other big subject this week. that is mike huckabee. they talk about women.

now if you go into the line for your food you can't touch anything. everything is handled to you. they cancelled showed because the entertainers are sick. they aren't able to perform. >> there have been people complaining about the way that the line has handled it. do you think they are doing everything that they can to make you as comfortable as possible and get this thing resolved? >> in my wife's case and mine, we weren't able to get through to room service to get the up plies to give us. and i got out of my room and the porter stopped me and he said you are confined to your room and i said we need drinks and stuff. it was a mess. i don't think they are cooperating that much with us. and every day there are more and more people. we can hardly eat. there are a lot less people in the dining rooms.

the top five. they suffer from depression, the root cause of suicide at a rate 3.6 times higher than non lawyers. you are dealing with a judge witnesses who may or may not say what you thought they were going to say. a jury you are trying to persuade. >> some of these attorneys are highly functional until the very end. generated $600,000 of billable hours his lift year. his wife gave his eulogy and talked about how proud he was of his children and talked about what a wonderful fan he was and you think why would this person take their own life. two more lawyers in their office building also killed themselves. for when the stresses of a

>> oh, i would agree with that. however, if you go into the barbershop you should expect to get a haircut. you put yourself in these situations all this stuff starts coming out. it does not justify it happening. it tells you if you put these things in these positions bad things are going to happen if you act bad and silly. >> yeah. a new harris interactive poll fsg finds nfl is america's favorite sport, far ahead of auto racing, baseball. does this surprise you? >> not really. two words. nfl films. nfl films has been around for 50 years. the nfl has done a better job through nfl films and mechanisms marketing itself than any other sport that's out there. then you have the fact the nfl is a very easy sport to bet on. it's a controlled violence sport. whether people like to admit it or not, they like the violence of it all. the one thing i would point out. you mentioned the harris poll. there was an associated press poll that came out last week that showed that the nfl dropped
